Adjusting Classic Mini ride height - With ride along
Here, I adjust the ride height of my Classic Mini after a weekend of what I think was the shocks bottoming out. I have high lows, so it is pretty simple, and I have it down to about an hour now to get the whole car sitting nicely. There is also a video of Classic Mini suspension working under the car, and always a nice drive through the Peninsuala to finish off with.

Welcome back - Today I go through how I built my custom dash to fit my audio head unit, speakers and PowerTune Digital dash into my 1969 classic Mini. I'm a home mechanic and did this without any special tools or equipment. Some things made it easier, like the router table, but it wasn't essential. Thanks @chux007 - I though tit would be cool to see for people that don't know how awesome a Classic Mini suspension is :) I had one part when the tyre knocked the camera turning right so that was a bit of a moment haha
@@MyModdedMini haha that would have sounded expensive! I went over a speedhump in my clubman once and the wheel scrubbed on the connector for the heater intake hose, sent it flying and made a horrible noise. Fixed now though :)
I saw the POV move on my livestream to phone so pulled up and fixed it (and then took it easy on right handers for a bit). Yeah there is a surprising amount of travel in the front, need to keep everything tucked up.
Love the spare wheel on the boot and other different style choices, i bet there's a bunch of people out there that let you know how much they don't like them though hehehe
Thanks Chux, yeah, if I had an OG Cooper S or something like that - or if I had the coin to have one parked up in a trailer somewhere, I would probably keep one original. For me the spare on the back was because of the audio setup I built year ago and then decided to keep it. I just love cars and how varied they are, like a work of art, they won't all appeal to everyone :)

Thanks James. I'm also impressed with my wife ;) It was bright yellow 2k as well so not easy to get off. I set it up on a rotisserie, and she would drag it out a weekend, wire wheel until she was getting pins and needles in her hands and then roll it away :) while looking after the three kids...
