What gearing you running? Awesome job
Supercharged it's running nice. 4.4 liters back in the 90s with dohc and 32 valves, an easy decade ahead.

Wilwood front BBK with hawk dtc 70 pads, re71r tires, tsp headers (no tune) and sway bars are the only mods.

350z was stock and the gti if i remember correctly only had a CAI. So yeah, pretty much both stock.
Nice! I'm driving a 2008 GTI and will race my friend in a 2007-12 350z (Can't remember which). What are my chances of winning from a pull, or drag race? They're both manual transmissions and I know for a fact i can shift faster.
+comonerleon win or lose; its all about having some fun. honestly, the 350z in theory should win with all variables equal. but theyre both pretty close and should be a drivers race.

Those year GT are not that impressive at all. I drove a bullit GT before and I know for a fact that the Bullet is a little faster. The 740 also is pretty slow with 4.4 liter pushing 276 hp and close to 4000 pounds its a high 15 second car . The z should easily walk all over these two cars, if the driver knew what he was doing.

The video shows what happened and who won, no need to argue statistics. As for a Bullitt, theres a negligible 10bhp difference over a normal GT due solely to the lower intake manifold. As for the mustang GT in question, at the time 4 years ago it had basic bolt ons, made 250whp, and ran a personal best of 13.6. Fast forward to today and the car makes 715whp and quite likely faster than anything you've ever been behind the wheel of. So, come on over to NY and compare your Integra or whatever you're driving nowadays.

Do some more research on the beamer, a stock 740i sport package does mid to high 14s. BMW also underrated the M62TU engine so the gap to the alright v12 in the 750s was bigger. The cars were known to dyno 280hp at the wheels. The car in this video is supercharged, it might be nudging 400hp, maybe. Also it weighs well over 4000lbs stock, around 4300 without a driver. Brand new they did 0-60 in 6 seconds, which I hope you can agree is impressive for the numbers. Hopefully that gives a little more context to that car, and I only say its supercharged because of the VF at the beginning of the video. VF engineering makes superchargers commonly used on e38s, cheers!
Those year gt mustang are hella slow I bet that a didnt want to race you , And that 740 is super weak ...I used to own one . It can best some cars on the the road but really 4.4 liter v8 at 276 hp is nothing ...maybe a little hp if its the dual vanos model 99 or newer . That mustang is pushing 260 stock with a 4.6 liter while the z close to 280 hp so do the math . It doesnt take a genius to know the s will win easily . I dont see how people be posting bullshit ass videos on youtube. All the serious car guys know who can take on who ...btw i used to smoke the shit out of them GT mustang with my Integra type R..That mustang at its best will probaly run 14.6 in the quarter.
