@aevans2173 That happens everywhere. I am from Richmond, VA, and I have seen white people who talk black and black people who talk white. People can go to the same school and talk totally differently. Russell Wilson grew up in Richmond, VA, and people usually say he talks white. He did come from a good family, and he went to a private school.

This reminds me of the way people view Wayne Brady. He did not have his parents growing up and grew up with his grandma. His grandma did a good job raising him. He is very intelligent. Donnell Rawlings talked about this. He said in the black community that people try to downplay people because they are intelligent and speak properly. It is sad.

@harveymitchell5114 You do know that family did not take him in until his senior year when he was 17. He was pretty much homeless from 13 to 17. He would have only really been with that family for 1 year. After that, he would have turned 18. Then, he would have graduated high school and went to Tyler JC. Jimmy probably had it worse than most NBA players growing up.
