What about the verbs? I am PHOtographing a landscape or I am phoTOgraphing a landscape or I am photoGRAphing a landscape? I PHOtographed a landscape or I phoTOgraphed a landscape or I photoGHAphed a landscape?
I feel that I always make /gr/ sound into /kr/ sound TT. And dont know how to fix it
You need to keep your voice box on and moving. For K it is not moving, it moves for the G. Try adding a before and say A-GREAT. All vowels are voiced with the voicebox moving so this should help to keep the voice on for the G. Good luck!
@@tarlespeech OMG. It helps a lot immediately. Thank you so much teacher! 🌷

Yesterday I found potato chips with worcestershire sauce, in a nearby grocery store! Extremely unusual! I used unusual in a sentence, and the story is real, it tasted good but I don't know how to pronounce the name 🥹
Sounds delicious! I don't know the correct way to say Worcestershire.
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
🤠👍
Thanks!
I'm in Western Pennsylvania, too! Wouldn't a true pronunciation be the long E because the "EE"? Would "crik" be considered dialect, or we'd call it Pittsburghese?
Hello fellow Western PA neighbor! Yes, it is dialect, Pittsburghese and southern.
I use to say 3 syllables. Usual is a good word to tell Z from S.
Interesting that you can tell the Z in this word!
So thankful it's not "pooberty"
Ha!
Hhmmmmm After saying it both ways out loud here, I think I say it both ways but I probably slur it into the two-syllable often...or "often," depending on how you pronounce it
It's funny, I say it both ways too!
O que a Diana na areia aí e te mui🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Sorry, I don't know what this means. Google says What is Diana in the sand there and so much to you
Thanks for your explanation
You are welcome 🤗
In my mind the confusion starts back in a 1980's version of a police TV show series in the 70's (Dragnet?) where the song goes "Bom-Bom-Bom-Bom-Bweado.... BASE!" BUT... back then when you were getting car stereo systems installed you might hear it referred to as "BASS"....??? SO....???? Saying went, back then, ... "you need bigger BASS"??? Uh... what? So... it's BASE player, not (fish) BASS player, right? (Hahaha - please help. This has been messing my mind up for decades).
BASS stereo is pronounced like BASE. The same.
Amazing 😻 will go back here once in the while
Thanks - always welcome here!
Wow thank you Lady I'm Learn English
You're welcome 😊

As a non native English speaker, your explanation and pronounciation makes the most sense to me compared to other teachers. I do hear the difference when you say those words, but when I try to pronouce them, it is just difficult. I always thought dr/J are pronounced in the same way, until people look confused when I try to say "Jane" but "drain" came out. Now I know what I need to do to improve, thank you so much.
Awesome, happy to help!
I use both and do so with identity. Never thought of it. From my experince, some Brits don't like at all to hear words like "twenty" skipping the T but don't seem to mind in words like identity
Interesting, that is true!
the beeping sound in the beginning of the video nearly sent me away
Good news...I changed it! My new videos no longer have that. Happy that you stayed, thanks!
Why on earth have I missed your lessons for such a long time? I really like the way you explain it. 👍
Welcome back! Happy to help!

In nice I can hear the s sound, can I just drop it (s sound) and pronounce directly the th sound of the next word beginning with th sound, things ? That is : ni-things . (I just pronounce the first sillable of nice ) hope it's clear what I mean
I do hear people drop the S sound.
thanks

What's the pronunciation of ing? Especially after w, like throwing. Is it wing or throwying?
It is WING. Some people will reduce to in and say WIN
How to Pronounce WIN - WING - WINK - WINNING - WINGING - WINKING - Engli... czcams.com/video/hJ0-nQehnO8/video.htmlsi=W-4_QvSm9vJjjQVp
Right. So what about going? Is it wing too? Go wing? I really heard go+ing / go ying. I don't know if it's a British thing here.
Thanks a lot, you are fantastic.
You’re so kind. Thank you. 🙏
You're welcome teacher. Be blessed for your help.

Thank you, Jennifer! You are a great teacher.
Thank you! 😃
Thanks a lot for the Lesson today jenni Have a blessed weekend
You're welcome 😊 enjoy the weekend!
Hi jennifer. The way of saying "counner" is something formal? You could say at a university and is right?
Not saying a T after N in words is fine. It is more a dialect, not formal versus informal. You can remove the T in words like internet (inner--net) and winter (winner)
So you can say it at university and be ok.
I skip the T because it's how I heard it almost always where I learned English, Ontario. Once my landlady told me to grab the keys which where in the kitchen, on the counter. There they were, on the gas counter. I understood by chance. That counter is contador in Spanish, the same. The large counter in a kitchen is what I called bench then.
I love your stories!
Hi. Whats the last thing you said? What is bench? The translator saya encimera. Its like a table in the kitchen?
@@xilo3012 La encimera de la cocina es "counter". La encimera de los laboratorios y otros sitos de trabajo es "bench".
Pretty sure but not del todo
@@joseantoniodavila2752 ah gracias no entendí. Saludos.
@tarlespeech is it ur tiktok ? with glasses ?
Yes! I am on tiktok with glasses.
I wonder if English speakers know that union comes from unite (and not from onion and just kidding). I mean, does it have sense: the UNION of 50 states makes up the United States of America
You are excellent with word derivations! And I never noticed that onion and union are so similar...ha!
@@tarlespeech Thank you but I don't know if it should be "the union" or "the unity" I guess I'd be understood the same
❤
Thank you!
@@tarlespeech Anytime Teacher.
Is this the First Nations pronounciation or...???
I am teaching the American English pronunciation. The word is first nations but I am not teaching that exact pronunciation although the common pronunciation is based on that version.
how do they tell them from each other?
Context when speaking.
