Fun fact there's a reason why the War of 1812 was inevitable in 1807 5 years before Napoleon sold the Louisiana territory to America. he knew that America lusted for more land so much so that they would kill Indians and make them complain to the Brits who were in Canada. So what happened the Brits decided to impress Americans increase service even if they weren't British who were escaping. What happened America elected warhawks into office and pressure James Madison into declaring war against the British. I'm going to school for American history and I am going to beg my nation to reconsider the treaty and ask the same for Britain and say the war ended after the needless battle at the Battle of New Orleans and define what the last battle is no one knew because the telegram and the phones were not a thing yet so how could anyone know the war was over by the time the Battle of New Orleans happened.
