Which is an interesting outlook on the South African rugby landscape from which he builds depth. This weekend will be litmus test for this depth and richness. Yes, locks will be a concern. About Willie:he said Willie's new role will be to mentor new players, but he will still get game time. I still think Handre should have started just minimise risk in the 9/10 area,but he has the opportunity now to put the young guns infront of some huge pressure and buold confidence and experience. I am still worried about about Fassi, but he will be able to assist our smaller wings with securing highballs, but it will be a trying time for him. That might be a area the All Blacks might want to exploit. I think Handre will be able to cover both 10 and 15 from the bench depending how the game plays out. What is really clear, is that Rassie is willing to risk a loss and to give the new gaurd time to hone their skills. I am not willing to say who will win, but will say AB by 5 either way😂. Just on Fassi, in the press conference, Rassie did say that Willie's role has changed, helping the new guys coming through so he won't be there in 2027. With 2027 it looks like Fassi and Damian Willemse will be the fullbacks, Willemse being 1st choice. I can't see Razor being bold and make changes, so we'll see the slowness of TJ again. I'm sure you also want to see how McKenzie will cope with pressure.

Felix Jones was Attack coach with South Africa and to the best of my knowledge was hired by England as an attack coach but due to some internal goings on he's ended up as Defence coach, seems Sinfield decided to stay and he held on to attack leaving Jones to do a job he probably didn't want. He's probably seen that Sinfield is calling shots that Borthwick should be and decided he's out and he is correct.

At the moment springboks depth and quality in the loose forwards are far superior to the ABs, no. 8 however is clearly in favour of the ABs.
