Thanks to your video, I was able to confirm that changing the switches on this keyboard is quite difficult. I thought these switches were soldered.
The keyboard is so nicely done. I have ordered the version with other keycaps. I am so looking forward to trying it.
Sounds really good. The wood makes the sound profile less harsh than aluminum but more crisp than plastic.
No matter what I have in the board; HMX Swift, Purple Dawn, Vertex V1, Akko Yellow Pro... I'm always switching to the Piano Pro's for the spacebar on all my boards! Yes I do spring swap to match the weight and feel of the switches... but they always seem to win.
Did you make any more progress on silencing this keyboard? I'm finding mine very noisy for an office environment.
Can ANYONE help?!? I have a Corsair Strafe RGB MK.2 keyboard and i am having the WORST time getting switches out. I have the Cherry MX Red Silent switches and bought a lube kit to lube everything up after 6-7 years of intense gaming with it and CANNOT get these gahtdayum switches out of this keyboard lol. Do i need to take the back screws and everything out? Or should I just be able to pop switches out??? Feel like Its almost not hitting the tabs that unlock it, but i tried 5-8 keys before giving up because i felt like i was about to break something
None of those older Corsair gaming keyboards are hot swappable.
My sister should have learned this a time ago
What's keyboard is it ?
CIY X77 ISO
My keyboard stuck blue light at power section whatever i do i couldn't been able to change the state to dongle or search for Bluetooth connection help pls
I am not sure that I understand your issue have you reached out to Ajazz support yet?
Yes I have . They are telling me they can't help the situation because the return time has been passed for a week. They are simply saying good luck to you with this problem. Device has 2 options for connection first is 2.4ghz dongle and second is Bluetooth as u said but the device has 2 options for the changing the mode first is by pressing Ctrl q w e for specific changes q is for dongle but doesn't work the back of the keyboard there is a button to change the state to dongle and it doesn't work either. I bought the thing and did used with dongle for a month but for a moment I wanted to try Bluetooth the keyboard doesn't work anymore. Not recommending this to anyone. Please buy something from a company who has customer support.
@@orhunbegen I'm sorry to hear, I'd try to help diagnosing but have already given this keyboard away. Customer support is paramount and just another reason why I'm not too fond of Ajazz.
How do you connect the USB
Are you asking how to switch to wired mode? I believe it's Fn + T or Fn + Esc (3 seconds) will reset it.
Bent so many dang legs from pulling out switches to aggressively.
QMK compatible?
VIA I have not located the QMK source though
Does it use the same key switches as the nuphy air?
No, it does not.
Donde comprar
KPRepublic
how costomize display to other gif. you know how???
Use the custom image tool.
Honestly as a beginner i got the R87 version on sale for $60 and I think its a pretty solid, I see your concerns as an expert but out of the box I really enjoy it
can you turn off the led from the knob or change the color?
Yes, press and hold for 3-5 seconds to switch modes, one mode allows for volume and mute controls, and in the other mode shortpress to cycle through light effects, rotate to control brightness.
whats the command to change windows/mac mode? i lost my manual and cant find it on internet :(
Fn + A = Windows Mode Fn + S - Switch to Mac mode Many keyboards use this key mapping when they do not employ a switch. Hope this helps, cheers!
Me watching with non hot swappable:
what switch is it?
It's pink and unbranded, I was unable to find any specs on it.
@@MechKeyboards maybe latenpow strawberry switches
@@halleffectcontroller perhaps, but hard to tell without a badge.
Just picked this board up for sale for only $57 shipped, I couldn't pass that up.
I totally would have left my stock Keychron Brown switches in place but my wife appreciates silent switches, so I went with the Gamakay Pegasus and it was the right choice. I have tried a bunch of other silent switches but I like the Pegasus switches. Kailh Midnight and Whale are also really nice, but I think i like the "silent clicky" of the Pegasus. But yeah, like I don't understand the hate that brown switches get. They are really nice in sound and feel. Also, yay Linux. I use Fedora on my laptop.
Next I'll be reviewing the standard TK75 with the Pegasus switches, cheers!
Will doing this damage clear plastic cases like on the yunzii x75?
It should not but I have yet to test it and removing branding from a clear case.
Have you seen the Petrichor from AKB? Very very interesting rectangle.
I have but rarely take a look at group buy keyboards
@@MechKeyboards fair enough!
I bought a gmk87 and it remained connected for less than 5 minutes (2.4Ghz). The dongle simply stopped working on its own. I'm not an electronics professional, but I noticed that the dongle is heating up more than normal. Could the problem be a short circuit? My second problem is aliexpress support. They don't make it possible to send a new dongle, from what I understand. Reverse logistics is ridiculously expensive here in Brazil. I'm out of options. I'm very frustrated, I thought I would use this new wireless keyboard but I can't.
Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I'm having a problem with my GMK87. When I make custom macros with VIA, they break each other. I do a simple macro, just write a text, on my M0, I save, it works fine I make a macro on my M1, again, a text, I save, it works but my M0 doesn't work properly anymore, letters and spaces are missing even though I didn't touch them. So I go to edit my M0, it works again but I've got the same problem on the M1 And when I quit and go back to VIA, all my custom macros are reset. I downloaded the new firmware and followed the video to the letter, my keyboard did reboot, as explained, but the problem remains the same. Am I doing it wrong? I don't understand and it's driving me crazy!
I just received mine, and I would describe the sound profile as "marbly" and "creamy". It also has a lot of "pop" (like the kind you get from doing a tape mod on the back of the PCB). On the scale between clacky and thocky, it probably leans just right of center towards thocky. Overall, this is one of the best sounding keyboards I've ever owned. I specifically wanted this sound, and my only very minor complaint is that the keyboard is somewhat louder than I prefer. EDIT: I'm with you about the spacebar sound. I don't know how they got it to sound so amazing with not even the faintest hint of ticking. I've done all sorts of things to spacebars in some of my other keyboards, including tape, resin, padded bits. But this is hands-down the best-sounding spacebar I've ever heard.
Too bad WOBKEY mismanaged their funds and now appear to be defunct, leaving many people without their orders. This was a nice keyboard, but there are many coming out that are meeting or beating it at a much lower cost and in stock; Womier SK75, Leobog Hi75/Hi8, Lucky65, and many more.
@@MechKeyboards Yeah, so I NEVER do group buys, and forget about Kickstarter. Someone was actually selling them on Amazon for $139 for the standard version. Shipping for the website is +$30, so this is actually expected price of $109, except if I don't like it I can just return it to Amazon (and there is a much greater expectation of receiving it). But I love mine.
That software is basically identical to the one for my QK65 V2 Classic HE. 🤭 It's amazing to see an HE keyboard for $65 with all of those options. It is very strange that they included north facing shine-through keycaps, but side-lit cherry are getting to be a lot more popular. I will probably cave and buy the white one and use my white/blue/purple side-lit Womier keycaps on it. I like how it sounds stock, so I bet it would sound pretty great with mods.
Agreed, I'm looking forward to coming back to it and seeing just how nice I can make it purr. Sounds and feel much better than the original keyboard I bought in this case/design, the Dukharo VN66.
I bought the same keyboard and ran into a problem with the gif - no animation, just a still image with no layers how fix?
You need to make sure that you are uploading a GIF and that it is animated in the preview. Also make sure to send and save the entire sequence, not just one frame.
Hello, could you please tell me how to restore the standard image that showed the time and battery status on the screen?
For which keyboard?
Is the Phantom+ compatible with other 3 pins switches? Like outemu or kailh? Because tecware claims its only compatible with wraith switches
Primarily with Outemu switches and other thin pin switches, like wing latch top Akko switches.
Im using the gmk67-s and i cant change the screen or customie it. I cant even open the app
While plugged into a Windows PC you need to run the custom tool.exe program to sync time and upload images/GIFs.

It appears Magtame removed all but two products from Amazon, links removed. Thanks for the heads up!
Havent been able to find gmk87 anywhere, do you know a trustworthy link.
Sure, here you go: go.be2x.com/gmk87zuoyi
Dang it's a lot louder than I would've thought for red switches!
I wish they would ship the Gem80 with a dust cover instead of this cloth that I have to drape over it!!!
you can easily swap the fn and ctrl with just the DIP switch 4, says in the manual. You can also remap it according to the manual as well.
I'll have to give that a shot, thanks!
What would you say the best bang for your buck 75% is? Not long ago you suggested the gem80 to me for a tkl and I’ve been loving it but wanna add a 75 to the family
This one is certainly one as well as the Leobog Hi75: czcams.com/video/kj2Np_U5eg4/video.html
@@MechKeyboards thank you!
quick question, can you set the rgb to a single colour too?
Do you still use the plumbers mod?
Honestly, only when modding/working with older keebs. All the new ones are damn near perfect, sometimes all they need is a good clean and new lube and they perform just fine.
after clicking the file it just won't load

I this a five pin keyboard?
czcams.com/video/Gego7jzanvg/video.htmlsi=V0PtSM4TXOmt2rmO&t=220
I got the Keyboard 2 days ago and for some reason my keylayout is not working. For example on my "0" key is NOT the ")" , how it is shown on the keyboard but instead when i press "shift 0", I get the "=" I got the german qwertz layout, installed the firmware but some of my keys are totally different. Any Ideas how to fix it? I tried it with VIA, if I change Keys on the configure tab in VIA, it doesn´t work at all. I tried it on different layers aswell. Thanks in advance!
I'm not sure if it's the Qwertz layout, which I do not use, or an issue with VIA or the VIA file, have you reached out to WOBKey yet?
Fantastic video, you reccomend this Ranked nova N60 or the Rk 61? thank you!!
Thank you! The RK61, especially the QMK version; Ranked never released the source code and shut me out when I asked about it. czcams.com/video/MphLTlaRm84/video.html
Do you still have this keyboard? Could you help me take a clear picture of the PCB underneath especially around circuitry around the processor and close to the battery socket? I need to compare it with mine.
I do but it's packed away. When I get a chance I will try to take some close up photos of the PCB.

How to setting The time and date on GMK67-S?
Plug it into a Windows PC and run the custom image tool, the keyboard will sync it's time and date to the PC connected with that executable open.
