Here is mine.. In 2013 my daughter wanted to commit s*icide. She got r*ped in that year and fell into a deep depression. She seemed ok that day and went to school by train except that she never made it to school. Instead she got out at the next station that had an opening to the forrest. She went there, got lost and when she finally decided no one would find her too soon she proceeded to finish her mission. 10min later I get a call from an elder man telling me I need to get to the forrest that my daughter is there. My heart dropped as we knew of her depression. I rushed there, met the man and the first thing he told me was that I need to prep myself for this is my daughter's last road. My whole body was shaken by pain and grief thinking the worst then we get to the place my daughter was. She was laughing in tears with an elder woman. She was fine. I hugged her so damn hard and we both cried like children. I apologized once again and maybe a milion times for failing to protect her from the man that brought her to this point and she apologized for all the hard times she may ever caused me and her mom( she never did but I knew she needed to let go of her own perspectives of guilts) it probably passed a full hour then we followed the older couple out of the woods. I thank them profusely offering money, a drink, anything for saving my girl but they refused politely. We parted ways at the entry of the woods and went back home. A week later my daughter asked for a bouque of red flowers and a bottle of whisky. It was strange but I complied. She took them and went out with my wife. When they returned, my daughter was smilling but my wife was white as a sheet. She asked me once again about the names of the elders that helped me save our daughter and I told her. Later, she told me that both her and our daughter went to the cemetery and placed the bouque on the woman's grave and the whiskey on the man's grave. But the problem was, both of them died in 1999. They were hit by a train when crossing the railways next to the station my daughter got out in 2013. I can never explain how, but I always mention that elderly couple in my prayers for they are the reason my daughter is still alive and thankfully into therapy for her depression and fear. Their kindness went beyond the grave and that is what saved my baby girl. So, thank you Marta and Jhon wherever you may wander.
