Yes there are. I can't recall which outside decks, but they exist.
the cheers is $111 if you book it before the cruise thats not at 15 drinks , the thing is if you did drink 15 drinks youd pretty much get quite a few free past the $111
We understand all that. It is only our opinion, but across an entire cruise, we are better to pay as we go rather than get the drinks package. Each to their own!

Hello thank you for the video. It's informative. I'm going this October with Carnival cruise. When youre in Noumea, how do you pay for things? Their currency isn't common and I'm not sure how much I should exchange so I'd rather pay with my commbank debit card
Thank you for your kind words. We just used our credit cards at stores and tourist operators. The small market at the cruise terminal will take AUD if you want some trinkets.
i liked there was more seating than on splender, but I didn't like the big arse statue taking up space where on Splender they had trivia etc there
You're right, it takes up a ton of room.
the thing I like about Brisbane is the seats along the way. it is a bit of a walk from the terminal to the ship. and the seats are positioned so you can pretend you are posing for a photo on them
We loved the seating, and you are right, the statue does take up a huge amount of useful real estate.
Im going on my first cruise on this ship in June. One thing I cant find is what type of power points are in the cabins? Do I need international adaptors, or are they AUS points?
There is one Aussie plug and one US. We take an adapter just for the convenience of having two plugs.

I'm going on a cruise next week and my sister and I also couldn't justify the expense (it'd be an additional $1744 for us). Trying to get to 15 drinks on one of the cruise days, just to see if we can? Hell yes, what a great idea! Challenge accepted - I'll be back with how close to 15 we get to.
We believe in you! Hopefully the next day isn't too rough (literally and metaphorically). LOL

It was probably too chilly out of Sydney, but perfectly fine once you get closer to the islands.

Thanks for your kind words. We tried stick on magnets which didn't work fabulously. 🤣 Now we use the small, strong magnets on bigger things and good old blutack on the smaller bits.

Hi Jacki and Jay , We we’re able to check in today for our upcoming cruise to Morton Island ! But , the earliest check in time we could get was 12.30 to 1pm ..grrrrr nothing like you described. I would have liked an earlier boarding. I’m guessing because it’s our first time cruise with Carnival and we are classified Blue that it’s the earliest they offer to Blue ? I’m guessing Gold and Platinum get the earlier boarding times with special MRD lunch ? Cheers Rod
Hi Rod. We are usually online at 12.01 am to get the earliest possible time. Desperate we know. 🤣🤣 It isn't about colour until you hit Platinum. When you get to the dock, ask the people there politely and you never know your luck. Worst case, you still have plenty of time for lunch and a magnificent time!

On top of that we took your advice , headed to the ship at 10am ,threw our bags in the bag drop and they told us get your boarding pass out and ID and you can board straight away ! Hip hip hooray 😃 We were on board at 10.30am and eating by 11am 🤙 Would definitely do this 4 nighter again ! Loved Fahrenheit 555 restaurant on the first with a free bottle of wine 🥂 Cheers Rod

Thank you so much for your kind words. We have never gotten off at Moreton Island, but will next September. We are cruising on Luminosa for the first time in 62 days ( but who's counting), so we will definitely be showing people our view of the ship. Jacki will probably do some pre-cruise packing and organising video before we go. We hope you love cruising as much as we do.

We are planning B2B cruises on the splendor in 2025 and we’re coming from USA so I wanted to make sure I was making right decision and the ability to sit out and see and taste the ocean had me sold!!! I love that style ship! What room number were you as you have peaked my interest with the whole lido deck scenario - I love to get up early and be alone too - the lido deck cabins sound like a wonderful spot. Hi there. We are both not quite sure, but we think about 9254. We love Spendor not tiny, but definitely not huge. Of course, being Aussies, we don't have much choice.

Thank you for your kind words, we love our crusing and love telling people about it! Our first cruise was with 4 kids; two 11 year olds, a 14 year old and a 17 year old! It was a great family holiday so we are sure you'll have a ball.
“Tour of Bars” love it 🍻🍹 Did you noticed any drinks or cocktails of day at reduced prices ? And what about “tipping” was there a need to tip or do I need to bring cash for that ?
No discounts unfortunately except for buckets of beer and buying wine by the bottle and taking it with you. As for tipping, we don't, and it isnt expected in Australia, but you totally can.
Hey guys , really enjoying your content 🚢 I subscribed the other night 🤏 We had a carnival cruise booked and paid for pre covid but as it got closer to our sail time , the cruise industry was cancelling left, right and centre. Our cruise was eventually cancelled and after 4 months we did get a full refund. We decided to do a small cruise later this year to Morton Island. Really looking forward to it ! We have down loaded the Hub App. I’m guessing everything is at your finger tips with this App once on board ? Things like Shows in the Theatre, Comedy at the Punchliner , Trivia and Game Shows , do you need to book in to get a seat or do you just rock up ? (The Punchliner , I don’t want to miss out) There is so much to take in , in an unfamiliar environment and wanting the most out of the cruise. Cheers Rod 🤙
No need to book for any of the shows. First in best dressed! The hub is great for finding out what is on during the cruise. If you prefer you can pick up a printed copy for The Fun Times at the coffee shop.

@@RodSwansmad you need 75 days. You become platinum on the cruise your 75th day falls in. We will be platinum on our Singapore to Sydney cruise next year. Woot!
