Jesus Himself was mostly silent during His own trial when many were blaspheming Him. I kind of picture those who attack the Vicar of Christ as going up to Jesus, blaspheming Him, and then mocking Him for not condemning their own mockery. Why should any of us want to attack Christ in His Vicar under the guise of defending Christ against blasphemy? It is incongruent and nonsensical.

You make way too much sense. The pope doesn't use social media. We can learn from that. The thing is as well, not everyone needs to condemn every scandal that makes the news. How many have come out and said that blasphemy is bad? It's good that they did so, but that doesn't mean that everyone has to do so. People have different charisms. I have heard that the boxer being called a man was born with a birth defect, and they are a woman but had internal testes and therefore a very high testosterone level. This is a rare condition, and people who have it are by DNA 100% male or female, but they suffer secondary sexual characteristics of the opposite gender due to the defect. They’re not transgenders or anything. If this is true though she should still not be in the Olympics. It’s very sad and I hope God heals her and takes care of her, but she has an unfair advantage that just ruins the competition. We have to have standards that remove extreme outliers like this to keep the sport fair. I feel bad for the person though and wish them the best.

I think the Holy Father is aware by now of the opening ceremonies. I think he chose not to comment on it for the risk of offending or disparaging the trans community. This based on his previous interactions with these groups. I don’t agree with this approach, for the scandal it causes. But this non-action or sometimes ambiguous approach has been consistent throughout his Papacy. Except when dealing with Traditional Catholics. Then he will actually resort to name-calling.

I think these people who are against the Pope are very often spiritually dead. Some I do sense they are just unaware. But many are in this as sort of a medieval role-play. There are a lot of professing “trad Catholics” who sort of picked the religion for the trappings and connections to Europe’s past, which is why those groups have an odd amount of white racialism in the “rad trad” groups too. They basically picked it over Norse paganism or something. By God’s grace, many who come in like this with impure intentions find the true faith anyway. Others are against the Pope because he and the Church don’t fit their idea of what think things were like in old times, but they’re only acting out Martin Luther 2.0.

Wish I was an American so I cd vote for Trump. Prayers for his victory. Now, I am not one of those who see Trump as some kind of "saviour" that is going to miraculously change society but he sure is better by far than any alternative.

I keep faith I will not lose hope even as I struggle as a single mother. Both of my sons are special needs children. They require so much from me yet I know I AM BLESSED to be their mother. Lord Jesus give me strength as I struggle with rent and as I struggle to provide groceries for my children.
