Years ago I did a lot with making dyes out of natural materials… berries, bark, onion skins, flowers etc… I then used them to dye wool as I was spinning at the time… but keep thinking you live in an environment where experimenting with making dyes and hand dying fabric to use in your slow stitch art would be great fun…you seem to have so many things at your fingertips that could form the basis of dyes… just a thought…

When you showed us the circular bottom I thought it was the beginning of a bowl. This is quite a lovely surprise. All of your individual fabrics and stitches work perfectly together.
