Ironically, although he was a child, it was Jace who triggered all the fighting and as we know he soon pays a price for that

Ewan Mitchell is such a good actor. He can be as innocent and gentle as Osferth in The Last Kingdom and as cold as ruthless as Aemond in the House of the Dragon.
