Some times you need to have a look at the posts from the plastic case that are hitting the buttons. They can be worn out and have a dip. That can cause double clicks too. Now the only thing to do is to cut holes in the glide pads and try to fix it with high quality double sided tape after you got the goup off of the mouse and skates. Dunno if it works. Might be too thick might not be. Maybe even hot glue and an air gun at 100°C works or your fan but be careful or you melt stuff.

I have both, and I used Scimitar for a few years. The scroll wheel on the scimitar started failing, and I had to take it apart and fix it, other than that it's been nice. My whole setup is corsair, The pc case, power supply, mouse, keyboard, mouse pad, even the freaking chair, but regardless of that, I just had to go back to G600. My G600 is probably around 10 years old, but still the clicks are more sensitive than Scimitar, also it has 2 features that corsair doesn't have, Scroll wheel tilt so u have 2 more keys on the wheel, and 3rd mouse click button. G600 is the Original one, it's cheaper, and it can't break, It's simply just better than the copycats.

I prefer the OG Leo Fender 1951 “Nocaster” pickups.

Any updates on this? My G600 has been great for years but Logitech quit making them so I'm looking at options. I've had a few Corsair mice and they all had double-click issues that developed within a year. Have you tried the Red Dragon M908?

I would recommend breaking down the number pad side and cleaning it as well.

my only comment is that i want to obtain every living g600 left on this planet.

I bought this seven years ago for that $49 deal bc I have a white set up, needed this video, love my g600, turns out Razer Mamba polling rate for the last year was SCREWING me in FPS and league. . . funny an mmo mouse works better for fps and moba. EDIT i can also click faster and aimtrain a little better w it, NTM switching profiles is easier just less intuitive.

My mouse literally randomly died. sensor wouldnt wanna play nice. Take it for a short swim in some nice 95%+ alcohol and boom works like a charm! Thank you ! saved me hassle of looking for anew mouse ! Would love opinion if to buy the naga pro v2 or scimitar as replacements just in case.. this logi is saying its goodbyes

All the settings will work only with pc connection? Or it will be saved inside the dongle to use with my iphone also ?

Hi, I'm looking at the HSS ultra. Goal is to get sounds like alchemy Sultans of Swing, Pink Floyd pulse, Eric Johnson cleans and solos from the FM9 MK II turbo You get the trend. All while having the option of a nice humbucker. I am confused with all the reviews saying that hot pickup and the split don't deliver that classic strat sound that well and I should get a non-hot pickup SSS. Please suggest guys

Do you know what features work without the app, like if you unplug from the PC and plug into a phone? the Asus AI mic dongle has the noise cancelling features without the need for a program (the configurator only changes the hardware features) but the audio quality isn't as good. I think the "auto mute" feature works without the software.

almost 10 years i've had my g600 and it finally started doing the right-click thing. Thanks for the vid man, at least im not crazy. Gonna have to buy a tool set cause those screws are smaaaaaaall

I use the play 4 on my arcade cabinet. The sound on my games sound so much better in terms of soundstage and clarity.

Sounds awesome! I thought they sounded fantastic with high gain. You don’t find enough people willing to throw a bunch of gain on pickups like these and play some heavier stuff in a demo. I think you really showed just how versatile these are. You hear people rave about how versatile some telecaster pickups are in a demo but don’t really take it from one extreme to the other. They’ll throw a little dirt on em and act like they’ve shown you everything the pickups can do. A true demo will do everything from clean to high gain/metal. I wanna hear a pickup in every aspect, even if it doesn’t sound that great in some genres. It’s subjective. You took them from one extreme to the other and I enjoyed the demo so I just bought em!

This has been incorrectly claimed to be a full teardown, when it isn't . The sideboard/keypad has not been disassembled in this video

Thanks a lot my left click had bad double click issues and the G600 is no longer available in stores. Local repair shop wanted to charge 80 euros for it. I purchased small screwdrivers and followed your instructions - actually did not even had to use alcohol - just needed to clean the dirt and hairs out. Seems to work fine again!

I have 3x G600 (I keep buying news ones when this inevitable problem happens but now all 3 mice have the problem) I tried your fix on 2 of them. Neither worked unfortunately. So many successes in the comments. I followed pretty exactly with 99.9% isopropyl. Pretty gutted. Now have just bought replacement switches, so I'll try soldering those on.
