What a pleasure to meet all these filmmakers!!!

I think they were humouring you.

My name is young stroker the body snatcher. Delete this video if you know whats good for you.
Brilliant creative advice: switch up the genres!!!
Craft. Craft. Craft.
I ordered Dr. Roberts book and subscribed! Thank you such valuable and solid arguments!
Yes! Such an important book.
@@TruJuLoMedia My book just arrived today.
I'm happy she found respect pretending to be white. Speaking as someone genuinely white who gets no respect, she's doing better than me!
Curious: what do you mean by not getting respect?
@@TruJuLoMedia look up Rodney Dangerfield and you'll get the gist of it.
I just learned that Babe Ruth was suspected of passing as white and that Ty Cobb reportedly refused to room with him because Ty considered him black. What a weird world. I am officially white according to my birth certificate; but there have been times in my life where I have felt noticeably not white and it is odd to say that I have not liked it. I have three North European white grandparents and one Italian grandparent with middle eastern features; and I look vaguely similar to my Italian grandfather while my brother is blond and North European white (my brother and I are close and we have literally never talked about skin color or his blondness and my dark skin features, we are true brothers and only see our brotherhood when we look at each other). It’s too bad that people even think about the color of their skin, I hope someday all people will not think about skin color and see each other as my brother sees me.
Thanks for sharing this ❤️
Babe and Cobb were never on the same team. Doubt that ever even could have happened. But yes, it’s long been a rumor that Babe was black.
@@Mr.Pojangledo you think he knew - or was it - like many Americans - part of his heritage that had already been denied before he was born?
@@fanshen who knows but if he did he probably wouldn’t have let the cat out of the bag.
So tired of people caring about the color of their skin!
DISGUSTING that anyone would lie about their ethnicity especially avoid to be honest about being a descendant of slave owners. DISGUSTING.
It's Just survive and preference for another culture kk
Survival bro
Thanks Sista for this interview. T is such a storyteller and is real and funny.
Truly. We love them❤️❤️❤️
🥰 Thank you for sharing your experiences on the subject of passing. Blessings and peace my sister.🙏🏼😇 Shared
Thank you so much for this comment. Peace and blessings right back to you ❤️thank you so much for sharing too.
When was in college, back in the late 70's, I read Nella Larson's book "Passing." It affected so much that I wrote a one act and directed it. Have you seen Danielle Romero(I may have her name wrong) CZcams series NYTN? She is diving into the construct of race. She began her research after she found out that her great grandmother had passed. It appears that you're both using some of the same information. Congratulations on your movie.
That sounds amazing! Thank you for sharing. Congratulations on your one act!
LA native and ICCC alum say a lot about a queen

Nicki Micheaux has always been focused on telling authentic Black stories and I’m so glad she’s adding directing to her skill set! Can’t wait to see “Summer of Violence.”
Nicki Micheaux is an acting legend. So excited she’s now directing as well.
Looking forward to when these are in theaters/streaming.
I’ll see ANYTHING by Raoul Peck - he’s my all time favorite doc filmmaker. I’m curious how they approached Ibram X Kendo’s book Stamped From the Beginning. The Williams sisters are so smart to make content around sports. And I’m really intrigued by the doc that features Hiam Abass because she is such a powerhouse on Succession.
