Hey man should you do an improve this band video on a band called DETH RUSH they’re a band from Adelaide and they just posted a video from their gig
Way back in the mid 60s, Joe use to teach my brother guitar in trade for use of my brother's Silvertone 2x12 amp. Joe didn't have a good amp and needed one for his gigs. He also lived in his van and ate a lot of bolony/mustard sandwiches. I was 5-6 yrs old and my brother was 15-16 yrs old. He would come over to our home and teach my brother, but also take time to teach me simple songs and I would learn them. He was playing in a band called the Measles and played all around NE Ohio while he was going to Kent State. He told my parents to take notice how fast I picked up learning a song by ear. He gave my brother and me good advise when it comes to not leveling off in our playing skills. If you get stale in the band you're in, change bands, even if it's a step backward. You'll still learn something you didn't know in the other bands. The more people you play music with, the more you'll learn. Learn more than just one style of music so you will have a wide variety of ideas and styles to draw from and that will help create your own style. Needless to say, he quit the Measles and went up to Cleveland to play in the James Gang, which had 5-6 members at the time. But shortly after he joined, the band dropped down to Joe, a bass player, and a drummer. That was enough to kick start his career. The rest is history. He basically turned me on to playing music when I was 5. Now, I'm 64 and have been in bands and doing solo work fulltime since I was 13. I'm on my 35th year as a solo act and enjoy playing music just as much as when I was a little kid just learning how to play. Thanks Joe. 🙂
It certainly doesn't make Ringo the best ever. But it does put him in the top three along with Ginger Baker and Keith Moon. 🌙 🍞✌️
Drumming was never Peters downfall, its his personality
Iomi for all Black Sabbath songs, Rhoades for Blizzard of Ozz and Diary if a Madman 🔥🌌
It's definitely a healthy obsession! I slaved away with my DS-1 while I drooled over our lead players RAT. After a while I had my own RAT but then he showed up with a Turbo RAT! My RAT still sounded better 😁😁
My teachers telling on the sweep part of creeping death kirk reaches the 17th fret after the first 16th fret hit, Is that true? if so you can prove him wrong!
I thought the Fair/Mid one was a little fast and sloppy but I liked it. The Pro Level one was boring.
Every Alsatian Dog Got Big Ears and i don’t particularly like modes a lot.
Too much distortion, and over-strumming/over-playing...bingo! I was even a little bit disappointed in a 2013 Alan Parsons Project live version of their own song "I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You". All technically top notch players and playing, but the guitar riffing through the verses was just too busy and unfocused. It definitely brought it a step down from the studio version.
Click track is cool and makes sense to me to hold a band together but I haven't desired to use it. I like music to be dynamic in time and pace accentuating parts of songs with early or late changes can convey things like urgency and anticipation and make more of a ride out of the song. I its sounds that really cant be replicated on the spot a backing track is pretty acceptable to me but if it is playing instrumental parts that crosses me as lazy and fraudulent. I have a rule against loops or backing tracks in my current one man band project and I manage to make a good full sound live playing keyboard, guitar, drums, and singing at the same time. I appreciate artists who really push their skills beyond what people expect is possible like Santiago Moreno or Roman Kim. You don't see the great performers needing anything but their instrument to put on a great show and that's what I strive to be. I'm even trying to make a fully acoustic version of my set up so I won't be at the mercy of anything electrical so I'll have a reliable backup if all else fails. Look at each piece of your equipment and think, Ok if that part fails what's my plan B. Have a backup for every cable you use, specially the rare ones. I even have all my shit and amp running on battery so power problems at the venue cant even stop me.
This is missing Love, Hate, Love and It Ain't Like That 😭😭
Sounds like they were partying way too hard, BEFORE, the show. I would have been totally embarrassed to get on stage with them much less play with them.
I think it’s totally appropriate to do the surfer drum beat to emulate the claps in a live setting.
Great cover of Hey Bulldog by Fanny: czcams.com/video/Pdwzko9DZ0s/video.html
I only have one regret: the 1982 Les Paul Custom my parents scraped up to get me for my birthday. I grew to dislike the scale of Gibson guitars, so I'm sure I would've sold it by now anyway, but I regret doing it back then. I traded it for a Hamer flying V that I promptly ruined with "modifications" that I didn't have the skill or tools to do properly.
This was my favorite video about playing guitar! I'm beginning to learn guitar and this definitely helped! Thank you!
Spot on adam sandler impression though
And if they can do it, then ask them to sing the lead vocal at the same time... There was a reason John, Paul and George dropped Pete Best and poached Ringo from Rory Storm & The Hurricanes.
I’m in a band rn we’re making songs (I play geetar) and I’m not sure where we r gonna go next because our drummer (wren) just had shoulder surgery because he keeps dislocating his shoulder. And we haven’t really written any good lyrics and I’m the singer but I’m shish at writing lyrics 😂
Sometimes, less is more.
One of the big differences between the two was that the pro version showed how important what you DON'T play is. The bass and drum parts really showed that.
Markiplier?
Same people who think Ringo is a great drummer think Paul McCartney is a great pianist. Ringo couldn’t do a drum roll. The whole “Ringo is a great drummer” crowd is just plain silly. Just because you love a band doesn’t mean everyone in that band is the best at the instrument they play.
Ringo's a traditional rock and roll drummer ....simple and precise . The Beatles weren't the Who their style was not drum driven heavy rock .......the Stones's Charlie Watts was also a simple, and effective drummer . Ringo's simplicity made up a large part of their sound that would've been ruined by Keith Moon or Ginger Baker
I first saw this documentary when I was 18 and thought the guys were cool and tough. I watch it now in my late 30s and I think they look like immature little kids. Still my favorite band.
Which guitar should I buy? I don't have long fingers. I am left-handed.
and I don't want to disturb my roommates either.
Další žvanil co umí hovno.
It’s so funny how exactly you explain the show of Sabaton, how the singer looks… I think most people have heard about Sabaton before.😂 But please don’t get me wrong, it was a great video and cool to see your experience with that show!🤘
You made a lot good points, and I'm definitely gonna make effort to work on the subtleties of the songs I cover. But I gotta say, that dude with the green tele does this song better than Mellencamp. I totally love that version.
this band (besides the drummer and singer) is why I just can't stomach watching covers... not worth it... you can't unhear the f*ckery that ensues!
