Well if you want something authentic check the description. We created our own Comic manga hybrid that is doing the same. Literally sold out our 2nd issue @ Blerdcon this weekend. We're Black and make comics for our people. Now, You are lil misinformed. You know what Japanese people call American Animation? Anime. DO you know what they called our comics? Manga. Both Manga and Anime are just styles. Westerners are ones putting a box around it. While typically people tend to write for their own, which is natural, sometime people step out of that mold this is why Afro Samurai was created or Samurai Champlo lol As far as this Audience argument goes this Manga has three volume so far. It may not be hyper popular but it is resonating with an audience. Unsure who but its in Japan. That being said, I wrote a novel series before i turned it into a comic. That series target demographic is Young Black people who like Urban Dark Fantasy and adventure specifically males but some how I sold like 30+ copies in Japan and mostly Black Women tapped in. Target demos work but not for everyone. Like if you look at rappers like Hopsin or Technine they both started off just rapping their asses off trying to impress Black folks but in the end the people who mostly gravitated to them were younger white people. It just happens that way sometimes

@@diduoup7407 I would say most art these days are derivative. So the fanart take is absolutely correct. Artist are taught to draw what you see rather than what you know. But the frieren Artist isn't as popular as the writer most people who only watch the anime wouldn't care to know Tsukasa Abe's name only artist and hardcore fans would know. Because of how accessible the technology is not everyone who makes ai art is an artist. Ai art goes way beyond prompting.

@@bennogb5069 I disagree most people train themselves on commercial art. It's just that we don't ask which piece it's from. The only difference I see is with us humans is that we can't turn our brains off but with ai you can choose what information gets in it. I have use ai alot just to figure out what's behind the curtain. And the conclusion I came to is ai just like humans can only draw what they have seen but ai is worse because it doesn't know how things feel or how things are put together. Humans will always have that advantage. An ai can draw tree that's it. But as a human i can feel the tree. How healthy it is. How the wind interact with the tree and so on. What I am saying is don't get to hung up what the ai can do study what it can't. An Ai doesn't have reason or feeling but it pretends to because that's its goal to be Human like. As an artist my self. If idraw a pikachu, which is universally recognizable even in my style ultimately I am drawing someone elses IP and if I sell it i am stealing. Yes its my work from scratch but in a fair and moral world where we respect each other as artists i would be stealing. Its become cultural acceptable though because the companies who own these concepts would bankrupt themselves tryna sue or cease and desist every depiction of their ips. So we as artists get away with it. That we need to remember but conveniently when calling Ai artist thieves we do not.

So this is 50/50, right now the same way i can compile references of other people art on Pinterest. I also can turn my computer into and Gen Ai take those same exact references, drop it in a folder and the gen Ai will do its thing when prompted. As a matter of fact that will be a faster way to get a reference to draw from instead of 20 like I usually do lol but those who do not draw theyll just gen like 50 times and choose the better images to post days before i finish my piece.... lol its sickening but we sorta allowed this to happen

You're missing cultural nuance and i don't know if you're trying to do this on purpose of this is what you genuinely believe. I will explain but i have a feeling its the ladder. Because white people made themselves the default in literally EVERYTHING. This means to them race, cultural, and ethnicity are unimportant. America did a cultural switch when it turned off its European roots to turn everyone European white against the looming "Negro threat". Before you attempt to tell me it is important let me remind you White people are White by choice while Black people are Black by force. And your if first thought to that is telling me to erase my culture, race, and ethnicity by just being "American" which proves my whole first point. Now, *Just an example; Its documented history that the comic industry/American media went out of their way to derail Black creators and to gate keep them. THIS IS FACT. NOT OPINION.* 1) This is why you do not see many Original Black characters put on the forefront. 2) Because of this we have a TON of white characters that their race isn't apart of their character. 3) This becomes redundant because you constantly see the same characters, AND DESIGNS, over and over. As the industry improved this was noticed. 4) America is capitalist ands they'd rather take a chance on something proven them something new. However the America that was hidden in comics/media from 1900 till about 1990's is no longer as hidden as it were before. Nor does America look the same. So the reason you see characters in a FANTASY SETING, NOONE really cares about being turned Black isn't them attempt to erase a characters whiteness because that whiteness doesn't EXIST because of the default in place. Those attributes, race, ethnicity, and culture, character rarely exist for white characters. For example: Making Steve Rodgers *with no historical nuance added* be Black would be Black Washing but that is something that WON'T HAPPEN BECAUSE IT WOULDNT HISTORICALLY MAKE SENSE. For example: The all Black X-Men remix is because their in a different universe with different history but those Black X-Men aren't the main UNIVERSE X-Men. Not Black Washing. For example: Making Jimmy the photographer from Superman Black literally means nothing because him being White means nothing. For example: Having Starfire, and Alien being played by a Black woman isnt Black washing because 1 Alien and two Star fires major inspiration was DONNA SUMMER a Black Disco queen. I’ve seen more sources say she’s inspired off of Iris Chacón & I got a CBR article who asked the creator themself & he said no. And to me if you only know one and only fly under that banner...the game is already lost...cause instead of going put on medias and watching and listening to artist spotlights and such ...the media focuses one point ....and the rest are cast aside.. You seen that alot in tv back in the day...I loved "my wife n kids" I enjoyed "Bernie mac" show... But for some "strange reason" they were place in the same time frame ...on the same day...and instead of both getting love now they're competing ....it's a tale as old as time...if we fly under one banner...and if that banner goes....who do you know other than the one they promote? @theironblerdz on Instagram hits these topics .. So before people invest all the time and effort in one specific company...they should look around and see what other comics ...that a being loss to time ..

Before I start understand I am a DB fan but overall i don't just analyze powers. I'm not forgetting that, trust. I'm basing this on their attitudes. Saiyan's do not go for the kill immediately. They like to draw out fights and underestimate opponents. Viltrimites are there to kill you and take over. Aint gon be no duels, aint gon be no 1 on 1's either. Just from that i can deduce the Viltrimites are over whelming the Saiyan's it doesn't matter if they can blow up planets because they can be stabbed, poisoned, blinded, maimed and their not blowing up a planet they are on.

@@afronomenonstudio ohh ok that is a fair assessment but idk if Saiyans not going for the kill is something you can apply to the whole race for instance (idk if this is portrayed in the manga) but Raditz, Vegeta and Nappa once conquered a planet in 3 days. By this example you can say they are able to finish off opponents when needed, and remember during the Frieza Saga Vegeta finished off every opponent he could. I think giving your opponents second chances is more of a Goku trait if I’m honest.

@@afronomenonstudio but I do agree that Viltrumites are winning the battle but it’s just gonna be much closer fight and hell I think if not for each species’s pride and culture this war would be too and might result in negotiations rather than a war that ends with the destination of the other. (But due to the culture and pride of both species it most likely won’t end that way; then again the Saiyans did bow to Frieza’s family 😂)
