I saw a 1-1 war and said eh whatever I'll score run, I have kinda tried coda score in the past but not really any real runs that made it past z2 so this was kinda my first try. I was superrrr nervous in z4 and z5 so i left some enemies. Wasn't very good with the bombs either because idk I was just nervous and wasn't exactly positive what to do. Really happy with 11k on my first coda score run and might do some more in the future, it's pretty hard to play coda for 30 minutes straight without missing a beat though.

Coda with Nocturna's z5 bleed mechanic

I did this by using the Shift F9 menu, search "bit" and change "Character Bitmask Override" to 1. It also makes gold walls spawn again for coda as a side effect. Had a db5 death on this earlier today but that was really my only other run of this mode besides like 3 z1 deaths or so.

this one is a bit confusing, a lot going on everything is wrong played this run pretty bad too, got hit a lot just like the one I uploaded yesterday tried out coda with nocturna's z5 bleed earlier today and died to db5 so I will prob do that and upload it soon once again shoutout to @jacobsmash1 for coding the random floor mod

So the floor order here is totally random This took about 30 minutes to beat, very luck reliant just like my random song order clear I played this run really bad, also I did NOT mean to blood freeze that singular bat in 1-2 LMAO Shoutout @S.I.L. for the idea Shoutout @jacobsmash1 for coding the mod Shoutout @ocre for the thumbnail idea

Random songs for each floor Mod Link: mod.io/g/crypt/m/songrando I was streaming this run to friends in call and wasn't really locked in till like z5 so that's why I made a lot of stupid and funny plays. I don't know if I would say this is harder or easier than normal coda, it depends on the songs you get for each level. This didn't take that many attempts so I can't really judge it.
Coda clear with the Hatsune Miku Soundtrack

So this soundtrack is faster and has different song lengths so its on its own leaderboard. Most notably 4-3 is basically as fast as death metal. I won this run on my second try of this mode , it was my first time ever playing z2, z3, z4, and z5 on double tempo with the miku soundtrack. Coda Tempo Up Clear

So this is coda but with one tempo up trap permanently on, which means every song is 112.5% its normal speed (i think that number is right) Really funny run item wise, not many items out of z1 and no shovel till 5-1. I got really nervous in z5 and you can tell from the way I was playing z5. I died to KC5 two days ago and then DB5 yesterday(after killing him, trapped myself in gold with no bombs...

The first run is bolt 16x I think, and the second is 32x probably, I used the infinite slot capacity mod to stack boots of speed on top of bolt double tempo shrine. Had to call in the goat in the goat to coach me for this, shoutout @ocre

Using Extra Boss Size option in the Shift F9 menu, deep blues and coral riff were 50, rest were 25. This was no amp no sync so now I have a win on all coda all zones mode leaderboards. Gonna keep playing coda for sure, probably do some challenge runs and speedruns maybe.

dude how did you get so good! Im currently stuck on the all zones mode with aria :( i am slowly getting better. Is that all it takes? time? or are there any secret tricks you know🤔
It took a long time, I unfortunately don’t really have a secret tip for you. I also got better slowly which made it hard to keep going but just remember you improve at least a bit from every death. For Aria I just played her until I won, didn’t do any special practice. But for coda I do a lot of boss practice because of how hard a lot of them are on her.

@@Designated_loserdon’t you worry. i had the game, played it a couple times and got nowhere, stopped for 2-3 years, picked it up again, got decent but only aria single zones decent. picked it up again a year or so after, thinking all chars would be impossible i slowly chipped at aria all zones since miku got me back into the game. got her done, realized i could do all chars eventually. now i’m playing coda on zone 4 single zones. on switch! with a thumbstick! keep at it friend

Yeah double tempo takes a lot of time to get used to, I wouldn’t get discouraged because of bolts initial difficulty. I felt the same way when I was newer to the game, I just really wanted to play coda for some reason so I unlocked her in co op and basically only played coda for the next 400 hours lmao
believe it or not? i was trash with bolt. lucked my way through all chars with her. couldn’t maintain tempo for anything grinded coda over and over lashing my head into a brick wall. now on zone 4 single zones believe it or not, CODA is what made me 1000000 times better at BOLT. it forces your hand at keeping double tempo. bolt does. not. coda will make you a better double tempo player not bol i now casually play bolt and it’s so trivial it’s like disgustingly easy i almost hate it lol

The sounds in this run sound a lot punchier than normal, is there some setting you can tweak to make the sounds less out-of-sync in double tempo mode? Also cant believe shields are transphobic. During pride month, too.
There is not a setting to make sounds more to the beat on double tempo, I’m not sure how the sounds sound a lot punchier. If you have any questions about any of my specific settings I’m happy to answer them but there are kinda too many settings to just list them all lol. Feel free to ask if you have any! Also yeah unfortunately the transgender flag transmog/conj mod has not been updated since sync released.

I like titanium more on coda because sometimes reflective shield will kill something that I don’t expect it to then I will jump on the gold dropped and die
