How Dark Does It Get During Total Eclipse?

It's a matter of personal taste. There's no right or wrong to liking, or not liking someone's playing.

I don't know. Are you talking about the intake tube that feeds directly into the air filter?
I see the 2 holes in the intake that you refer to, but I don't know what they're for. My best guess would be that they're for additional airflow into the intake.
