Due to the fact that the skin color of the ancient hero is mostly green, I think that if Link's tunic is green it is to pay tribute to the ancient hero who was the first to fight and successfully repelled the evil from Hyrule.

The candle lit during that wellness session belonged to Gemma/Ms Casey. Cobel stole the candle from marks house and insisted on the wellness session after it was in her possession in order to test a theory. Scents evoke emotions and memories which is probably what made mark sculpt the tree during that session.

I think the ancient heroes look is actually the result of a hylian and and zonai procreating and eventually after like half zonai half hylians started to have children with more hylians the zonai race kind of died out and that’s why the race doesn’t exist now and it’s just hylians so I think the ancient hero can still be the same bloodline as all the other heroes just evolved from half zonai half hylians

I'll never forgive nintendo for ruining the story and the lore of this franchise cause they were too lazy to write something to answer the questions

My theory is that this ancient hero is a normal Hylian that had the ability to transform into that Zonai like appearance. In many Legend of Zelda games, Links have been able to transform between different states like in Ocraina of Time, Link transforms between time, Minish Cap Link transforms into small and regular size and Twilight Link transforms between Hylian and Wolf. This ancient hero probably transforms between Hylian and Zonai to accomplish different tasks.

I honestly think it’s “A Link to the Past” other world Link with the Pink hair, that’s the only one we don’t see in the past few games.

i think it’s interesting that the aspect features three pieces that look like an owl, a dragon, and a demon/boar

I can't help but think there's a connection between the Aspect and the dragons. The eyes of the Aspect and the Light Dragon move in the same way.

My assumption about the ancient hero’s aspect is that he’s a Hylian-Zonai hybrid. After all, if Sonia and Raru wed and had children (which they must have had since it’s heavily implied that they are Zelda’s ancestors), then probably there were other Zonai-Hylian couples. Perhaps that’s the blood origin of the Hylian knights to begin with, only by the time we meet Link and Zelda, the Zonai qualities are no longer outwardly apparent.

Rather have a gerudo Link, this is awful addition to lore.

The thing I think people get wrong is that they are trying to establish some kind of coherent lore or history for these games. I think there is no such intention from the writers. I think it’s intentionally a mash of loose and loosely connected myths and legends. No one really knows what happened - except for during the time Zelda actually went back to. And there’s no “true history” to be uncovered, because Nintendo has no intention for there to be one.

The ancient hero scares the shitt out of me, those eyes look right into my soul.

The most interesting thing about the Ancient Hero is far and away the fact he ISN'T LINK. Meaning someone other than Link could and did beat Ganon.

I know life is hard and unbearable at times. I've lived through many things most people wouldn't believe. But life is full of seasons of change and this too shall pass. I know this might sound strange to some, but we are designed to be in community with others. Only in these later days have societies been estranged to become so isolated by design as well as pricing people out of living. Never the less, if you have never called out to God The Creator and Giver of Life? Now might be a good time. I'm not talking about being religious or anything. I'm saying that we didn't just form from nothing happening to nothing for no reason. It's completely logical to believe that we were created on purpose. And since this is the case, It seems as good as time as any to call out to this very powerful creator and see if your life doesn't warrant a response. I could also recommend searching for a chat or forum that is God centered in so that you can find a little bit of community that would be able to help guide you in your circumstances and be able to answer any questions or concerns that you might have along the way. What’s also interesting about the Hero’s aspect is that it’s green with no blue as depicted in the Antient Calamity tapestry, could be in relation to the traditional green tunic of Link? Another video that I watched, had theory that maybe in some way the Gerudo, if not Ganondorf may have connections with this ancient hero, because of the read hair, the jewel on the forehead and accompanied Gerudo like jewellery. I honestly think that initially for BOTW the ancient hero was Link as through all the ages and then changed it up for TOTK. Maybe there will be a third instalment with more lore behind it or maybe that’s it for this story?

Voice is good but narration needs improvement

I wonder what anyone can make of some various information: ●The 3 masks worn between the legs is a boar at the bottom, wolf at the middle, and owl at the top. What is this thing of 3s? The 3 mazes in ToTK occupy sky, land, and depths. Right of passage for old warriors? And the motif of 3 intersecting triforces that make.up the dangling adornment motif. ◇third eye symbolism. The human pineal gland is also known as the third eye. The symbol of the third eye looks like a closed pine cone standing upward on its stem. You can see it all.over European architecture. It is also present in the design of the lights that adorn entries and stairways all over sky islands. And obviously Rauru has third eye on his forehead. One more thing though that might be confusing. Keep in mind I've only played TOTk... When you go into the shrines you'll see the kinda greenish wallpaper decaying on parts of the shrine walls (I'm not sure how much the brown walls and green walls.play into the color.scheme.mentioned.in the video) Now if you look closely at the "wallpaper' motif you'll notice a sort of scaly motif. In European architecture those 'scales' are yet again references to the pinecone. They could be what are know. As "pine scales' (I think there's a giant closed pinecone in the forgotten temple but I'll have to look again when I get time) BUT! Given the dragon motif upon entering a shrine perhaps it is Dragon scales? Much can be made of the Hateno Cece v Mayor side quest and it's commentary on fashion and styles coming and going. ■ Has anyone else noticed that behind the waterfall in the Lanayru Promenade there are 6 pokey statue things (after you blast away the blue rock)? There the same pokey thing you see near the crystals in the sky islands before. But in the sky islands there's only 3 visible and the.other ones are hidden or in rock? Are the connected to the little antennae things that jut out from the.bottom of the sky islands (and presumably have antigravity properties)? Or perhaps the designers just put those there in the Lanayru cave for design consistency? But Rauru did say that the temple of time was on land so.... idk. So what does anyone else think? SPOILER WARNING: Sorry I didn't put anytime into making my comment readable. The thing that the reverse aging scientist says post credit is.like "How.do they make these islands float? I guess there'll never be an end to our questions about the Zonai" I took that to mean that there was an answer to the question in totk (though clearly there is something going on with that rock with the squiggly lines going all around them that jut.out of.mountains the help you find a crutch for climbing using assend .but probably just the designers addi g believability to something her character would say rather than being like 'ohhh ho-hum! Floating island WHO carezzzz?!?!?" Oh and symbol on top of Zonai Parkside material is also on the pedestal in treasure chest in cave with the 6 metal things juttingout of ground. OH! And there's 6 circular pedestals in front of the metal things that got little pebbles in them. Not drawing any conclusions about the Zen circle motifs in shrines. Confusing? Thanks again. OK bye! They shoulda put something in more! Just ONE DLC that addresses the owl boar wolf thing. Oh well. Maybe it'll be referenced in a Zelda.entry in a few decades.

Its possible that we are seeing the ancient hero after undergoing a transformation of sorts. The thing i think people missed when analyzing this hero is that aside from the abnormal physical characteristics he has, he also seems to have a gem in the center of his head, similarly to Ganondorf. In totk, after killing Sonia and taking her stone, Ganondorf starts to transform into a new form. And in this state his hair grows very long, his eye color and pupil size changes, he grows claws, and he grows some horns on top of that. All in all, he looks a lot like a Zonai, but his own version of such. We could being seeing something similar taking place with this hero after possibly absorbing another stone. This could explain why we cannot seem to definitively link him with any race precisely. Because this is most likely not his true form. We have seen through Ganondorf and Zelda that their hair color does not change upon undergoing their transformations. Therefore the ancient hero did have red hair and likely reddish brown skin as shown in the ancient mural. This means that the green skin and other physical traits are transformation changes, and do not reflect his base state, more than likely that of a Male gerudo. With the mural image, the red hair, and the gerudo jewelry....this seems to be the most likely conclusion

I strongly believe that the ancient hero was a hylian turned into Zonai. You can see that he has characteristics of both races. His legs and ears look a lot more like a hylian than a zonai, like he is some kind of hybrid. Maybe the next game will be a soft remake of a link to the past, just like the ones before where soft reboots od the first two games. Maybe link becomes a red headed zonai in the next game just like the link from a link to the past has bcome a pink hair rabbit. Just my theory

Well, seeing as the ancient hero has both zonal and hylian resemblance, it could be that he is the son of sonia and Rauru. We know they have a child since Zelda is their descendant but we never see him. Now he doesn’t have nor his mother nor his father’s hair but hey, not everyone inherits their parents hair sometimes it jumps a generation. Alternatively he could also be their grandson. Anyway, I think Sonia and rauru’s child is a topic not a lot of people think of and that’s sad.

purely going off the hero's appearance, its possible they could be a mix between zonai and gerudo, with the darker blue-green skin being a result of the dark skin belonging to most of the gerudo, also explaining the red hair, and the lack of the height expected from either zonai or gerudo people can just be explained as the fact that the spirit is enveloping link, who is much shorter

Nintendo really doesn't give a shit about Zelda lore. They just put whatever they want into the game and let others attempt to tie it all together. Totk breaks so much established lore and as a long time fan it just hurts me to see so much stuff I love being retconed. They had such as great setup in this game, but what they did with it in the end, story wise, is just a huge disappointment.

I don't think raru was the first king of hyrule, i think think he is the first king of this version of hyrule. remember hyrule has fallen and reestablished many times as shown in wind waker. remember he said im the first king that he is "aware" of maybe hyrule just fell that long ago they forgot there was ever a kingdom. also remember botw takes place over 10,000 years after the last game that is way more time then the whole timeline before that botw

When you go to the cave of restoration, you find a Yiga hideout instead, after defeating the Yiga, the construct there refers to the Yiga as “interloper” like the ones from Twilight princess. Just wanted to point that out.
