Those are driving lights; they turn on when you shift to reverse or drive. To test them I turn the key, but do not start the truck, then set the emergency brake and shift to reverse. Now you can see if they are working or burnt out. Many people have them burnt out and don't realize it. Thank for watching.

Well, I have all the equipment so if you are just low you can get one of the refill bottles at your local auto parts store. If you need a complete recharge and want to do it yourself, you will need the correct hoses, vacuum pump, oil and refrigerant. You would have to pull a vacuum first and wait 30 minutes to check for leaks. If no leaks are present, then you would pull another vacuum for like an hour then put in the refrigerant and some oil if needed. Thanks

Hard to say without inspecting the truck, but it could be the differential bearings have gone bad. Does it sound at certain speeds or all the time? Does it get louder when you are turning? If so it could also be a wheel hub bearing. Thanks

So far so good, the only thing not working is the parking brakes. I will address them when I do all the brakes. Thanks

Actually, I did remove the throttle body and took it apart, cleaned and reinstalled. Did not work, the EML computer was the issue. Once I replaced it problem solved. Thanks for the feedback, always like to hear other fellow E32 owners experience with their cars. 😁

@@PreciousRidez do you remember what the P/N was for the computer? And what guide did you use for cleaning and disassembly? I haven’t had to do it yet but I want to put it on my radar now.

Might just be a bad ignition coil. I would swap the #5 cylinder coil with the #1. Then clear the codes. If you get a code for cylinder #1, then the coil is bad you just need to change it. It #5 comes up again, then it's another issue. Could be the spark plug, vacuum issue, more diagnostic work would need to be done to cylinder #5. Hope this helps.

Hello Adrian, You will probably need a tool to reset the SRS light like I did. You can try to just disconnect the battery and connect the positive cable with the negative cable for about 10 min. That is a hard reset like they say, it clears all the computers and sometimes it works and will clear some codes. Also you might have an issue with one of the airbag sensors as well. I would go with the hard reset first, then if it does not work have the codes cleared. Thanks

Tried many old OBD 1 tools and tools that should be compatible, but none are able to do anything, for any module it seems. But know it can be normal also on E32s with everytging working, as my fathers E32. Have had the battery disconnected for long periods trying to reset it, but that is not the same effect as connecting poles with battery out? Thanks for the reply

Actually, the headlights are the OEM HID's. I did not replace them. If you are talking about the running lights, then yes they are plug & play and you can get them at: www.superbrightleds.com (Not sponsored by the way) : )

Hello the original GM part number is 93335341, that is the bolt that hold the cable as well. Hope this helps.
