Casual players still haven't realized that opponents need to approach you and they're vulnerable when they do so. Mac seems strongest wheen you go in and try to play his game at close quarters. You're not gonna beat him. But once you realize you can keep your distance, camp platforms and how there's several options he cannot answer to he's awful.

Wild. Sonic wasn't considered top tier in the earlier and mid years of smash ultimate. My buddy plays a lot, and mained sonic. He always said he should be ranked way higher.

I wish they could buff his up special so he can gain some verticality.

This character coule actually be used as the villain of this new story mode who u can play in normal vs mode, ravenbeak from metroid dread

Little Mac is basically a knowledge check. You just have to space around his incredibly short threat range and linear approach. Little Mac only wins if he is right on top of you, so just don't let him get on top of you.

Final destination little Mac is a monster but besides that he’s pretty bad. He also has really low skill floor meaning you could be pick him up and be relatively good in a matter of days not months

Too slow in the air, hes basically defenseless, his kit isnt great, easy to counter and easy to punish moves, ko punch is terrible

Yes, his recovery is awful. But good luck getting him off stage. The average Little Mac is absolutely bottom tier. But if you get good with him, and I mean REALLY good with him, he's pretty nuts.

He just kinda walked into that don’t get me wrong having up air strings with a nice grab Dk has some tools that are good he is hype during tourneys I just think he and G&W get placed at mid because of that alone they are fun to watch and hype but I think they are almost as fundementally broken as ness having little to no shield is one of the ultimate handicaps a player can have then just being combo food that has one of the easiest recoveries to edge guard and spikes in the game with no shield u got a lot of things riding against you that even bowser pichu and Roy can take for granted but still loving what slippees doing to the game. Play who u want im never putting anyone down it’s always crazy when more odds are stacked against you lower the tier better the player in many instances n I think that’s what makes melee such a cool game the balance is a mess but beating someone with a low tier in tourney settings counts for a lot more then in any other game

One thing if the next Smash Bros game I see constantly and is likely to happen is cutting down the roster. If that were the case, here's what I would have for the base roster of let's say 50 character. (8 New comers for base roster). Of course, DLC would be involved and have both returning and new comers. I don't wanna go into the specifics right now. Story Mode: It would be really cool if there was some story where characters from one world would end up in another and come together in a final Smash Bros world as you said to face a god like entity that's recreating the universe or something and some villains gather to cause trouble for themselves or the god they fight for (like Ganondorf to Master Hand in Subspace). Let's say (this one I want to see the most) in Star Fox's Lylat System, Fox and Wolf are in a space battle and get sucked into a worm hole and both ended up in different places in say Sonic's world. Fox and Sonic would work together to stop Wolf and Eggman, Krystal would show up to assist upon finding Fox, and then the villains disappear causing the heroes to follow them. Another one would be Zelda and Link are trying to stop Ganondorf, but ended up getting separated and ended up in the Fire Emblem world where Link and Marth look for Robin as he's a magician (don't know much on Fire Emblem lore) to find Zelda, get home, and stop Ganondorf. Donkey Kong would have trouble finding his bananas and finds himself encountering the Pokemon on his journey. And so on and so forth (I don't have a perfectly clear idea on some franchises as I never played any of them outside of Smash Bros).

Let me guess: Sonic is god tier because he's "fast" and nothing else. Fox was god tier in melee because he's "fast" even though he has zero kill options, which doesn't stop people from lying about ones he doesn't have like his "super-duper powerful" up-smash that does not KO until the opponent is at at least TWICE the percentage people claim, or his "OP Shine" that ALSO doesn't KO anywhere near as well as they say. Same BS with Sheik from Smash 4. No KO options, but "fast."
