How To Make Cote's SOY SAUCE CARAMEL (remake)
I’m definitely starting to appreciate restaurants more, especially when I get to try a difficult dish or try a combination of ingredients that I normally wouldn’t think of. And that was the case for Cote, a Michelin-starred Korean steakhouse located in Flatiron, NYC.
They had a “soy sauce caramel” served on top of some vanilla soft serve as a dessert and when I tried it for the first time, I was fascinated. I had to try to replicate it at home, so here’s my best attempt at it.
Thanks for your time, and as always, Everybody Eats.
If you’re into savory ice cream, like and sub please.

I love the concept of not having to think and plan ahead. But for the price of these meal boxes I might aswell eat out
Tasty❤🎉😊😮.
I couldn't deal with the amount of single use packaging either, care about the planet too much.
New design?
Seems like it. I think I might like the old one better
@@jtcooksdinner same here. I think we just have to get used to the upgraded design.
Totally here for your mother nature era 🌿🌿🌿
I'm a plant dad now
👍
try making galantine, its bussin
Oh man that looks hard
Always remember my italian mom making this on fancy dinners Looks amazing!
Thank you so much! Any major differences in cooking steps?
😋
dumbest reason
Just wanted the strawberrys lol
Guilty
Hey I stared the same thing with basil some days ago 😁 let’s see what happens
Let’s grow the basil together 🫡
Japanese Napolitan? Barring that, how about Filipino Carbonara that uses AP Cream?
Napolitan is a great idea, I don’t think I’ve ever actually made it. I had to look up what AP cream was haha. I’m not really familiar with the ingredient or Filipino cuisine in general. What kinds of ingredients would you use?
You are so underrated dude! You are gonna get viral someday! Dont give up
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it 😇
What pasta dish should I make next week?
What do you mean it took away your creativity. It's called a recipe. If you want to create your own food that's on you.
This is fire 🔥
Thanks!
The basil plants in the peanut gallery is to crowded. You need to separate the plants in the peanut gallery to three separate pots. They will live longer if you do. They are growing to close together.
True. Going to need to repot them
It took away your creativity? From a box made give you instructions on how to cook it? That has gotta be the dumbest comment ever.
Omg bro it isn’t that serious - it took away your creativity?? Bro you literally ordered those meals cause you couldn’t think of sh to make lmao. Ight bro you do you
Personally I don’t jive with them for treating their workers like crap. Not sure how good the service really is, probably isn’t for me regardless which is at most a nitpick they’ve failed as a company though for how they treat their workers.
kids these days with their terms "mid"
I’m taking name suggestions + gardening tips pls
Give me a shout if you ever see Okinawa soba in the US
Any tips would be appreciated pls I suck at gardening
I love bukakke… udon
Me too
bread is just the person you constantly friendzone and they’re depressed about it
They’re gonna be stuck there🤷♂️
This series looks fire bro 🔥🔥🔥 can’t wait for episode 2
😇
can't wait to tune in for the rest man :-)
🤝😋
This seems like a really fun series, I look forward to seeing more! :D
Thanks for the feedback :)
If you have little time for cooking or cant cook (cant be bothered to learn how 😅) then don't buy meal kits - learn how to cook with what you've got !
Well i dont have time to cook and when i do i only cook boiled potatoes and eggs
I agree with the rigidity but I just swapped out ingredients, saved ingredients from one dish to another, changed seasonings, etc. No need to follow the recipe exactly. I just think the simple ingredients are overpriced in the kits. So I use the recipes as inspo and shop for myself still.
Smart decision… grocery shopping and cooking is the best and cheapest option
You suck
Green Chef is way better.
Will be a bankrupt company in a couple years max. Their cost to acquire customers is too high. Most of their dishes are pretty simple and could be made for a lot less if you have a bit of time. The factor meals are good for busy people who can’t cook, but still they’re expensive and they ship it frozen. If they just put these in grocery store frozen sections for less money they’d save a lot and people might regularly buy them. Most people use the free trial or big coupon for first order and cancel. I’ve had a box, yeah it was decent, but would I spent $15 or so per meal? No way. I could cook for about the same, and make way more food
cant wait to utilize this knowledge on my trip to Japan in October! Thank you, handsome stranger. Subbed
Mealkits like Blue Apron and Hello Fresh helped me learn how to cook. I gained many new techniques from the recipes they sent me. I definitely don't need the subscription anymore, but i kept all the recipe cards and I still make my favorites. I think it's a good service for people who need support in this area, but if you have even a little bit of passion for food and cooking, you'll eventually outgrow it.
I disagree, but I still value your opinion. Kudos to you for sharing your thoughts with everyone.
Be against animal abuse and don’t hurt God’s creatures anymore. Leave that bacon off your plate if you care at all about animals
You were at did you know you were at around 12, 136 feet (3700m) when you were at the top
Yes!
I like it. Last year I was very ill and wasted more food than I ate. Hello Fresh provides meals that almost always stretch to 3-4 meals for me. What I don’t care for are the extra costs for some of the “Special” meals. I have not repeated any meals but will be re-making the ones I really enjoyed. I know I will eventually stop using them bit for now saves me funds, provides balanced meals, and greatly reduces my food wastes.
Nice buns 😊
Start with the food is good. 😂your passion for cooking has nothing to do with there product😂 sorry I'm watching CZcams reviews cuz even tho I love cooking I'm to busy with my new job to be motivated to cook after work lol. thank you for the vid tho.
Do u have a girlfriend 😊
It’s almost like the meals are designed for people who want rigid rules and can’t cook because people say it needs to be “creative”. I love to be creative in the kitchen, but someone’s I wanna know how much of a certain ingredient to put in
Thank you for an honest review
How much preservatives do they use? Thst would be my concern
Oh it's Glen from The Walking Dead
