Congratulations on your new project. I’m very interested in seeing the places you visit, especially as both my parent’s family came from eastern Finland and most have remained in those areas ….that is, after they had to move west from the now Russian side when my parents were both about 10 years old. Then only my parents left Finland after a couple of years of marriage. Smaller towns like Kotka and Hamina are nice in the summer, and of course Savonlinna, further north is full of interesting places. Funny, but I only have memories of visiting family in Lappenranta, but not the town, so I look forward to you showing us around.

i love pinaattilätty!^^ especially served with mashed potato and lingonberry jam its a very fond type of meal for me makes me very nostalgic❤ i also used to eat pinaattilätty with sugar or strawberry or raspberry jam as a child before going to bed haha always remember my mom or dad preparing it for me and my little sister❤

you should come even a bit more north and visit Ilomantsi and try out authentic karjalanpaisti, karjalan piirakat and sultsinat made by locals at runonlaulajanpirtti!

On aika hauska kuinka japanilaiset osaa ääntää yllättävän hyvin suomea. Toki, paljon virheitä mutta oon huomannut että japanilaiset osaa taivuttaa sanoja niin paljon paremmin kuin amerikkalaiset. yleensä lausuminen on isoin ongelma mutta ei japanilaisille.

I may be flying Finnair from Dallas to Helsinki so watching videos like yours to get a look at what economy seating looks comfort-wise. Can I assume you have to pay extra to book the seat itself? Disappointed that Finnair stop giving pillows on the international flights. Did you get a lot of sleep? I think your trip would have been all daylight because it was summer in the northern polar area.
