Elevate your legs, drink plenty attend maternity assessment unit for assessment of swelling and pain. Also, wear trainers with a wedge to take pressure off the heels.

@@ayazchaudhary9179 it is needed to claim maternity pay or benefits from your employer or the government. It's an important piece of paper to have during your pregnancy journey.
Just wanna say my mrs had a baby and she was good in 4 months and now having another 10 months on and my mother had a total hip replacement and was walking within 4 weeks

Congrats! Most babies fit newborn 0-3 months. But you can ask your midwife more details of the baby’s measurements after the scans. All the best mum.

I think it's necessary at 40 weeks if you're trying to avoid synthetic hormones that can cause issues....
@@meganread6068 Not necessarily. You can go up to 2 weeks over. Some women go even further. And sweeps only work if your body is primed for labour anyway which means it was already going to happen. It's 50-50. But that's for the woman birthing to decide
@chrissylouise3226 no shit it’s for the birthing woman to decide, but she can consider advice from her midwife and doctor and make an informed decision. I had a cervical sweep at 38 weeks because I had pre-eclampsia; they needed to induce labour and they wanted to try inducing it naturally before bringing in the big guns. Coming in here commenting “unnecessary” (yeah I saw ya in the last one too) is such a deadhead move 🙄
@@sherbetfarts Unnecessary for most low risk births, yeah. Regardless, a sweep won't work unless the body is already about to go into labour so it's pretty pointless, so may as well go straight into an induction. Please don't project your birth trauma on to me, that's something you need to work on yourself.
