    Thanks for posting this video. So I attempted to remove the dash on my 67 following your steps and the shop manual, but no luck getting it to lift off Did you have to remove the A-pillar trimming?

      No sir, I DID NOT have to remove my pillars. I do remember that those clips was a pain to get off I had to hinge upward as I pulled. Hope this helps

    Thanks for posting this, I'm planning to take off my dash as well. How did you solve the problem with the leakage on the windshield gasket?

      I took it to my local glass shop and they removed and replaced sealant. However it was nerve-racking because I had to sign a waiver stating they were not responsible for breaking windshield because it is a possibility. They explained the options and I eventually signed waiver with no issues but I would make sure you have a clear understanding with whatever shop you go to if you want them to reseal.

      I never did replace the heater core because in Texas where I am at we don't need heaters lol

      its a 67, the previous owner "tried" to fix the big rubber bumper in the middle and broke it beyond repair. I honestly dont like the look of it anyways so I left it off. I love the way the steering wheel looks on the 66

    Nice video, just removed my entire dash as well to get radio rebuilt and dash redone. Shitty part was I had my cell phone stolen with all my pics for reference for reinstall. Gonna be a tough install now

      I will be replacing it. I live in Texas and have had no issues with my bypass and it rarely gets cold down here. I contacted Lincoln land for a new one and I believe it was around $250 +/- and my core.

      Have you had issues with your 67 only blowing ac/heat air out the floor vents? I can’t get air to flown out the dash vents

      @@lonnie67 Sadly, I have not touched this car in over 2 years. It's still sitting there looking terrible. I hope you find the solution. Probably a vacuum leak somewhere.
