I can’t unmute one of my phones. It doesn’t ring

My handset says it is "on hold". Can't clear that, can't make or receive calls.

My phone only ring once and then the line is cut off. what is the problem?

This doesn't turn the ringer on. I've increased the ringer volume and made sure silent mode is set to off. Still, the crossed out bell shows on the panel and no ring.

My mother does have some hearing loss in both ears but the side button, audio assist, boosts the sound allowing her to hear clearly. Buttons are large and the screen is easy for her to read. It has a caller ID announcement which is a feature she uses to screen out unwanted calls. This phone worked out so well we bought a set for my 94 year old mother in-law and she loved it. Highly recommended for all ages. I like the way the backlight lights up the actual numbers on the buttons for easy viewing in the dark as my current phones light up around the buttons only.

The phone can receive a call but gets a busy signal when try to call out I tried the go to settings and do the reset but dot have the option
