Fantastic tutorial, this method of getting painterly looking clouds is really good, and super customizable! I just have one question, why does it slow down my viewport to a ridiculous degree when I have a light shining on it from a specific direction? Specifically from behind, facing toward the camera.

Yo i'm trying to get this to bake and it simply just won't. All i get is a solid middle grey color. Is there a chance anyone is willing to help me out? Baking is a beast I don't quite understand yet

Hello. I've been binge-watching your videos for the past several days. They are great! Anyway, I've tried to tweak with this shader to use it for bubbles but no matter what I do it still has this glassy look. Do you have any suggestions that could help me turn this into bubbles shader?

This is so helpful. Quick question, I'm trying to use this with the depth of field effect but it doesn't seem to be able to use the distance to the planes, instead it uses the distance to whatever object is behind it, any ideas why?

I added a fresnel to create a line around everything and that added to it

I love you channel and what your doing, its quick and concise, and keeps my short attention span;) I would really love to see how to make anime things in cycles, as my needs require features in cycles, and there aren't any sources on how to do that kind of stuff!

if anyone is not able to find musgrave then it has been removed from blender 4.1. You can use noise texture and set it to Hetero Terrain from FBM. You will get the same result as musgrave👍👍
