Roncalli High School
United States
Registrace 14. 08. 2009
Roncalli High School is an interparochial archdiocesan Catholic high school. The term interparochial refers to the fact that the school receives financial and pastoral support, along with the majority of its students, from the 14 parishes that comprise the South Deanery of the Indianapolis Archdiocese. The school is named Roncalli in honor of Cardinal Angelo Roncalli, who, upon being elected pope by the College of Cardinals in 1958, took the name of Pope John XXIII. Blessed Pope John was canonized a Saint on April 27, 2014 and is now known as Saint John XXIII.
Established in 1969, through the consolidation of Chartrand High School and Kennedy Memorial High School, Roncalli today serves over 1,200 students. The majority of students are enrolled in a college preparatory curriculum but the school offers a comprehensive curriculum for students of all levels of ability.

Is this edited in iMovie?

Comments where disabled on the hc assembly but just wanna say this is such a awesome channel and school I love it so much! 💕 (ps shawndey Davis is hOOt 😉)
I think I just threw up
You forgot “fire someone for being gay”
True this is a catholic school and god don’t like gay people
“An interesting fact about me is that I am not gay so please don’t fire me”
Here’s something making the headlines that we can celebrate, your shitty school is going to go under for being shitty and discriminatory towards gays.
Wouldnt be a Chuck Weisenbach video if he didnt bring the tears! Its actually pretty amazing that he has maintained the same level of passion about education that he had when i went there. Great school, even better people! God bless.
Go Rebels! Great show!
This hurt me to watch lol
This is the best video I have ever seen 😂😂

Hello Rick, Thank you for your comments. There is no evidence that our students are falling behind. Our standardized test scores are among the highest in the state. We are constantly monitoring how we might improve the learning of our students. Most of the improvement of learning comes from our efforts directed at improving the very human art and science of teaching. Additionally, we keep in touch with our graduates each year to understand their level of preparation of the next level of their education - particularly in the area of technology. The feedback we get from our students at Purdue, IU, Ball State, Notre Dame, Marian University, etc. is loud and clear - our approach is what our students need for their collegiate experience. We hear this repeatedly. What we did hear from some of our grads was that they thought they could have benefitted from a class in Computer Programming. As a result of the se conversations we are now offering this class as of this fall. It seems to be going very well and we are considering offering a second semester of programming in the near future. If we thought getting 1,200 iPads would improve the education of our students we would have them next week. The reality is there is no evidence suggesting that this is the case. In fact, many school systems are now recognizing that they have wasted thousands of dollars on such purchases (actually Los Angeles has a well publicized case of recently wasting millions on iPads (digital.hechingerreport.org/content/the-inside-story-on-la-schools-ipad-rollout-a-colossal-disaster_914/). We have a responsibility to be good stewards of the money given to us by our parents in the form of tuition along with the money our benefactors have given. When we know technology will make a difference in the quality of learning we get it. That is the basic message I was trying to convey in this brief video. But if we discern that it will distract us from our mission, we do not fall into the temptation of thinking that spending money on technology leads to instant improvement. God bless you and your family! Joe Hollowell
I still do not see any movement towards increasing the use of technology! This is the exact same message that I saw last year. I feel that our children are falling behind! We need one to one integration of iPads! Now not next year or the year after that!
