I use gn4 10w30 for the first 20 hours then 50 hours for break in then I’ll go for the 100 hour annual oil change and use a hp4s full synthetic 10w30 oil

I changed the motor do you have to sync the old batter with new motor .. I turned it on and get a fault code

I don't have a service manual and the information on this bike online is slim to none. My fuel sensor went last year, and I am wondering how hard would it be to replace myself. I'm assuming it's on the bottom of the tank? Any help would be appreciated. (I need to get a service manual lol)

Just did the rebuild I gone wrong some where along the way... I think I have missed a seal or out the wrong one in.. The coolant mixed with the gear oil straight away. I have striped it all back down and still can't work it out. Any ideas on what iv done wrong

If you do this correct you dont need to hammer the f*cking bearing and destroy it. Just throw them in the freezer and warm up the case. They will drop down without any resistance at all. Jeeeez!

What tool did you use to remove the nitrogen from the bladder? Or does anything work that fits in the hole?

They sell rubber vice covers so that you dont scratch up you shock

I have just shy of 18,000 miles on my 21 890 Adv R and the fork seals are still in phenomenal shape. I'm changing them now only because I'm doing a thorough inspection of the fork after crashing into a small deer at 70 MPH. I'm sure the seals could last quite a bit longer, but it makes sense since it's already apart. I attribute the longevity of my seals to Shock Sox. I also did the TAT, so my bike has seen more than it's fair share of severe offroad conditions in multiple climates varying from desert to tropical. Shock Sox have been fantastic with proper cleaning.
