My daughter is the Alienated parent because she turned in dad for physical abuse. According to guidelines of CPS, any bruise left after 24 hours is abuse This is terrible, my 12 year old grandson has run from moms house, he refuses to talk to her The paternal grandparents have foster custody, im 300 miles away The grandparents even had numerous marajuana plants growing on their property, and were td by CPS to have it cleaned up by Monday, the child would be returned, and instead of Mom getting her son, he was sent to his Aunts house, because Dad was out if town, but he may come back? Im livid, they are manipulating and destroying a good boy They have him all wrapped up in football this year, which is now a reason not to see Mom My daughter has been denied 2 times for an attorney through legal aid, a very biased judge who oversaw the paternity case, original custody order was 50-50, Judge signed 49%Mom 51%Dad Because her stepson made false allegations against her, was unfounded, yet her son was signed over to dad I dont know what to do

A few years late for myself but very potent information

Experiencing this with my husband (targeted parent) and his ex wife (alienator) and it’s causing big problems in my marriage. She runs all over hi, weaponizing their kids, blatantly disrespectful and he takes it time and time again. I’m sick of being witness to it. Action needs to be taken ASAP!!!

What I've found especially helpful from this video is your example of what a attorney may argue the first time a motion for contempt is filed and what to expect when someone is actually at the hearing. Oh gosh my case is so so so SEVERE I HAVE NO TYPE OF VISITS OR CALLS AND SHE WONT GIVE ME ANYTHING, never a parenting plan or anything, she don’t tell me ANYTHING AT ALL. She keeps telling me to petition the court she knows I can’t afford an attorney. She has said that herself. Gos I’ve got so much proof I just don’t know where to start. Can you please help me please. My kids have reached out, behind the alienators back and they can’t show me love and they are so scared to even reach out to me. I finally had one reach out after 4 years, I front of hundreds of people and I havnt herd from them personally since. I’m waiting for games to start back to be able to just go lay eyes on them. Gosh this is such a good video. It breaks it down so good. My kids are being so hurt, and I don’t know what to do any longer. I mean I’m just stumped on how to deal and handle this. My kids want to be saved but I don’t know where to start…. I mean I feel like she has been working way b4 I ever knew what she was doing. She was preparing them for her false narrative. And here I am a day late and dollar short. I just want them to be happy. And have all the people they deserve in their life. I just show up to games and watch from a far…. I don’t even try to correct her or them anymore. I just came to realize they’ve been living in this false world for so long. I can’t help them see all the lies are NOT true. I just have to work daily to make sure all these”lies”, are false and show it in my actions. And who I’m becoming. I do that daily. I just try to be a living piece of proof to the lies….

What a great series. I had a very experienced lawyer recently say that it's basically impossible to prove alienation. And thus, it's not a good legal strategy. He said you would need to be in the room when the parent is saying alienating things to the child.

I disagree 100% then what are we teaching our children? That bad behavior is ok?? So when they’re older and get into relationships the bad behavior is ok?? The cycle is just repeating itself.

What questions do you ask in the interview of family members and other witnesses?

It was easy for my spouse to do the Alienation of the children as she controlled the finances. I was the one that worked and made the income while she was buying everything fun for the children. At Separation time the children wanted to go with the Abuser for financial gain with the help of the Court system. They took the easy road out with less pain never to learn on their own.

This guy gets it. I just had a stark flashback to seeing my daughter's contact list when she was given a cell phone...listing me by my full name, and listing the stepfather as "Daddy _______." The ex even had herself listed in the phone as "Mommy ________." At the time, I really didn't like it, but I didn't act it on it like I should have. About three years later, daughter was fully alienated...

My God, you're describing my experience with my kids. The secret cell phones, the calling my kid all day long, making them go to his house even when it's not his weekend. Kids assaulting me, running away, defiant lying, I'm always the bad parent. My kids hate me now and it's too late. My son will argue with me about the color of the sky! His father tells him about things that happened 10 years before he was born. Blaming me for his drug use, shit like I can make a person use drugs! My ex has been on a narcissistic vengeance for me since he came back in our lives. My son wouldn't acknowledge me as his mother but my ex-husband girlfriend as his stepmother. It's weird bc my son couldn't stand her when he was younger bc she dominated him in conversation. She disrespected my son and I couldn't stop it. My ex made him so afraid hed cry and hide in the closet at 10. I couldn't get a therapist to listen to me. Now they're adults and it too late.

My childs mother must have watched this video to get all the tactics available, and she has deployed almost all of them! I have not seen my little girl for more than a year (despite what the court order says). Parental alienation is very real and very painful. It is like grieving a death over and over, an endless pain that can never be resolved.

ALL of this is exactly what my son is doing against me. He has become a carbon copy of his dad, who abandoned and wanted nothing to do with parenting even before divorce.

I dont agree with this. If a child feels this strongly that they are threatening to hurt themselves, then i cant rationalize pushing them… And I am the alienated Parent.

My grandchildren were alienated against their mother and we are still having a hard time and sometimes it gets worse then that .this women turned them against their mom and the children would call their mom the byword and say they hate her they would hit her kick her and smack her I've had to step in and calm this down because their mother is my daughter and they will not treat that way around me

The tricky part here is not mislabeling parents who are abusive perhaps due to sever mental illness or substance abuse as parental alienation. There are times when supervised visits have been needed for my child. I wish more people were able to work with a licensed therapist as a parent coordinator with training for this rather then in court that is soo negative for everyone involved so often.

Family law is 100% waste of money! Be an adult and if you love your child more than you hate your ex . . You will do the right thing for your child.

We have not been successful in family court, but at 15, our son is becoming aware of what his dad is, and is doing to ALL his relationships with myself, both sides of the family and his own friendships. I’ve always told him the truth in a age appropriate way and as not to denigrate his dad, I teach him about behaviours, and validate his feelings to help him understand what he is living through with multiple resources and supports. It’s unfortunate that many of us cannot afford to “play” the high conflict parents games through the courts and put an end to the toxic behaviour. A lot of parents I’ve encountered in similar circumstances are just waiting for the children to age out and come back from the control of the high conflict person.
