heres a tip for you: when you have an amazing hand that you know you're doing to win with (i.e a straight, full house, three of a kind, etc), dont bet super high or else you'll scare them away into a fold. bet small amounts each turn so you keep getting more money by luring them in

You know, you can morph the switch axe from axe mode to sword mode during a combo. As you attack in axe mode, during combo, if you use the morph button, it will morph into sword mode via an attack. Also, the whole point of the weapon is to get the sword mode into the charged state. If you noticed, the switch axe has another gauge that surrounds the switch axe. Get that to max and your sword mode attacks get charged. Even the thrust is affected as well. The whole point of the weapon is to use sword mode as much as possible and managing the sword mode meter the best you can.
