Tests showed nothing wron BUT Amp Clamp showed battery drain 0.34 amps back through alternator. Changed rectifier and no more drain.

I have diagnosed the car and it comes with lean communication code . Can anybody advise me on what that is ?

N47 116d had a 4b90 low rail pressure on start and only getting 150-250ish bar fluctuating at rail so changed hpfp (cp4.1) cam follower and pump head which gives me 400bar at rail now but still no start. Only get 0.3v signal on rail pressue sensor with ignition on and increases to 0.8v on crank, 5v and ground are good. The rail pressure drops away almost instantly too. Does the dde need a reset, faulty sensor. Thoughts please really appreciated.

Let's just say she isn't anymore and I'm happy I followed this video and many others like it. Thank you for inspiring me. I still keep my blaster out in memory of her (and because it is cool)

This is called a capacitive discharge. It doesnt "drain the juice out of everything", it resets all of the modules in the car by forcing them to essentially go to sleep, and come back when you disconnect the connection. We do this at Subaru as part of the diagnostic process.

My steering wheel makes a similar sound when turning and my right siren does not work. I have a four-spoke steering wheel in a 1991 BMW e36 (318) without airbaig. Could it be a similar problem? Or would it be better to buy a brand new steering wheel?

According to the BMW mechanics SHOP MANUAL . BECAUSE OF ALL THE DIFFERENT SENSORS THIS UNSAFE TO DO. RUN A DIAGNOSTICS ON THE ENTIRE SYSTEM AND YOU SHOULD FIND YOUR DRAIN IS USUALLY COMMING FROM THE COMFORT ACCESS. OR THE FOOT WELL MODUAL

I've gone through two night owl systems, both died shortly after the warranty ended. The fan went out on both. Feels shady, could just be a poor choice in parts but just feels intentional.

I probably need to give this a shot myself with my 2014 BMW X. I cant sseem to diagnose the issues ita been throwing at me. Im thinking it's probably the DME/ECU but there's many different things that could be wrong because there's a lot with the same symptoms m High Pressure Fuel Pump, knock sensors, cam sensors, mass Air Flow, Map sensor the list goes on. Maybe this will buy me some time.

last OVV3D silk rainbow pla was printing like that, i thought my settings was bad. i couldnt get one normal print out of it. I end up returning it. now i know it was moisture. im not messing with silk PLA anymore. it is a disaster to work with.

I have a bmw x3 2006 have been trying to reset at replacing the part for emissions, I unplug both terminals of the battery left it overnight with the headlights on everything on. Still would not reset. Those coats would take forever to disappear like I don't know how many cycles you have to drive, over 20 maybe, I don't have that much time to BMW messed up with this.

Turned out i had this problem on my old land rover, put brand new battery in, and still drained over night ( then learnt it was a alternator problem) my question is after initially replacement of brand new battery i done a parasitic draw test (still with bad alternator in place) and the draw was only 15 milli amps, assuming it simply my dash clock, with such low drawit shouldn't have drained the battery but diodes were definitely gone in alternator, draw test was done at battery terminal, it appears you have answered my question ( draw test means battery is still hooked up so it didn't show anything besides that dash clock draw) does this sound correct or do you think something else was at play, i watched about twenty five vids and your the only one who mentioned the battery must be disconnected to check diodes correctly, wish yours was the first i saw, would have saved me a lot of time.
