I think I was unsubscribed by CZcams. I have resubscribed. I just was wondering if you had stopped uploading, so I searched your page just now.

Back in college I took a speed reading course 800 WPM with 80% comprehension. But re-read it again and got 95% comprehension. which bowled the instructor over. I read fast and then reread it if I need to know who, what, and where things took place. But I was always faster at reading and the instructor was trying to slow me down. She asked what I really enjoyed reading and when I said early American history she brought out a book about 4" thick and started timing me. I read 42 pages and when I was tested got over 97% comprehension, that blew her mind. I didn't tell her I'd just finished reading that book so I was very familiar with its intricacies. Needless to say that class was a short one.

I use CapCut on my phone and my iPad. I don’t know what all the bells and whistles are, but I’ve figured out how to add videos and cut them up and link them together.

You are sure doing good working on it the first time. It is a bit overwhelming for me. LOL! Looks like you are mastering it quickly. 😀

I was in the 3rd grade in a small-town elementary school in south central Oklahoma when Sputnik was launched. Russia moved ahead of us in the space race. It was not long after that when the federal government began subsidizing education in a desperate effort to upgrade the nation's schools to catch up with Russia's educational system. Moves were made to consolidate or combine small rural/country schools since their curriculums were extremely limited. Only a short while later the so-called "New Math" was introduced. The teachers as well as students and their parents struggled to understand it, since everyone had previously learned math using the traditional approach. Eventually the new math was scrapped, since it was highly unsuccessful. Schools went back to the traditional approach.

They talk to fast and some talk down to you like if you do not understand this stuff already you are a moron. Or when you are watching a disassembly and reassembly video and they speed through the hard parts so you cannot catch important details. However the worst are the know it all's that in reality are full of you know what.

Walter, I agree with you. As I get older, I have discovered that people are talking faster than I can hear. I find it to be frustrating when I don’t get everything that they are saying.

It helps me to use the Transcript that is available now in the descriptions in most YT videos. They are done by AI so some of their translations are hilarious, but it does help. I don't need that in your videos. I was raised listening to your talk speed. 🙂

I watch this other channel DASH CAM VIDEOS and I set my playback speed to .5, the people talking sound like slurring drunks but I can still understand them and words on the screen stay up long enough to read, PLUS you get to see the wrecks in slow motion. Now if you got a fast talker he comes across sounding quite good.

My family lived in Brevard county ( Merritt Island , Melbourne, Palm Bay ) for a few years ( 2005-2014 ). During one of my visits ,we did the Kennedy Space Center tour and saw a full sized replica of the Sputnik satellite. We had the pleasure of seeing the Space Shuttle Atlantis on launchpad 39-B ,as it was it was scheduled for a launch in a couple of weeks ,but was delayed by tropical storm Earnesto. I never did get to see a shuttle launch or return in person ,but my family did several times ,along with other rocket launches. I was too young to see the moon landing ,but my brother recalls watching it on TV since he was older than me.

Sorry, almost missed this one. I remember listening to the news on a Saturday morning going to work, hearing about Spitnik being launched. Remember once listening to Sputnik's signal on my SW radio as it passed over. Beep, beep, beep... Friend would drive from NC to FL to watch the rocket launches.

My CZcamsr friends have viewers who have subscribed, ticked the bell for notifications, and stay signed in, and still sometimes don't get notified. So sometimes it's just all on CZcams. I usually get notified of yours, but occasionally, if I haven't heard from you in a few days, I head over to your channel to see if I missed one.

Good information but I do not use my phone for such things as watching videos and I do not have the You Tube app activated. In fact when my current phone conks I am going retro and not having the latest and greatest. Instead going back to the most basic I can get. Other than the Space Race video I usually get notified when you post. I get a notification alert when i turn on Chrome or when I open YT. I did not get such on the Space race video. However YT is notorious for manipulating their algorithms to suit their politics.

Never had motion sickness, BUT that feeling you get in your navel when you are going down the road and drop into a dip, it never bothered me till I went on a ferris wheel never puked I just peed myself AND the three chairs below me I was 8. First time on a ferris wheel at Cedar Point in Ohio, my mother was nonplussed why didn't you go before we got on I didn't have to go. Every muscle in my abdomen tightened and good thing I went the other one before we got there. I've never been on one since. Ifn you have no problem with movement like that you would like the Mackinac Bridge walk, well except it's 5 miles long, my first and only time I got to the first pier or tower and noticed the deck was moving sidewise 6 inches free of the tower I said Nope Nope turnin around and walked back to my car about 2 miles overall course I was 26 then, you ought to look up the Mackinac bridge and look at it's specs also I-75 oes over it and you go all the way to north border and you'll see the soo locks and canada.

Sometimes, I watch on TV and can't comment. Other times, I just don't have a comment. When I watch your videos, I try to at least give a like. Also, my work schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Monday and Wednesday are 12 plus hours usually closer to 16 hours, so I may not get to watch your videos right away. Take care my friend.

Most of the time I get notifications on your new videos but occasionally I don't.Might have something to do with your comments being off,not sure though.

Mr. Walter, i sure do remember the space race and i remember Douglas Edwards too, thats when we had true Journalists too! I sure enjoy your space video here! Also, i do remember standing outside when i was a boy and our next door neighbors too, we did see Sputnic, i was going to comment and i fell asleep at my computer here, something i do often hahahahaha! Do you think the moon landing was a hoax as many people suggest? I still believe it actually happened. Your response would be highly appreciated and I think might bring some views and comments for you as well. You had a closeup eye in the sky for these launchings. Thanks for your reporting.

I agree agree with LynnStillwell and JohnGallager, notifications are not being sent out. Everyday I click on your channel to see if there are any new ones. Sometimes I get them and sometimes I don't. I have heard other YT's say the same thing is happening to them. Also I wonder if your MAGA hat is causing the trouble, YT doesn't like it. Walter, I really enjoyed your space run story as I do with all your stories. I don't think there is anything wrong with you or your videos.
