Jesus announced at the outset that He had come to heal the brokenhearted to proclaim liberty to the captives and the recovery of sight to the blind It is the shape of His love On almost every page we see Him caring for people who suffer-socially spiritually physically He touches people considered polluted and unclean and He feeds the hungry I suspect it shows the Son of God reaching out to embrace or offer hope to someone on the margins-the leper the hated Samaritan the accused and scandalous sinner or the national enemy That kind of grace is amazing As I saw this my heart leapt in loving recognition and I began to feel that He might love me As President Nelson taught the more you learn about the Savior the easier it will be to trust in His mercy and His infinite love and the more you will trust and love your Heavenly Father

I’ve been so busy with my life and so much-happier since leaving the Mormon church. Ever go to a Mormon church meeting and see happy couples and people? No the hardly ever smile and look angry so much of the time
I’m sorry you had a bad experience. I have never seen people at church looking how you described. If it made people miserable, one would think they’d just stop attending. I wish you happiness in your life.
Same . I've seen people in all stages of moods at church. Happy, joyful excited..and then every now and then a bit sad or melancholy... But I've seen much MORE people like you. That claim study are so busy with their lives and happier since leaving but yet nor busy enough or happy enough to stay away. This will be your life now. Claiming all things good after leaving but you NEVER be able to leave it alone. EVER. Everyday you at some point during the day check you tube for LDS clips of prophets and apostles, or even EXMO sights or anything to do with LDS good or bad to justify or make you feel better about leaving. You will as the Lord says..."Have your season, as will even the wicked," but in the end you will be miserable, angry and or sorrowful. It will ALWAYS be this way for you. You have been taught an Eternal truth. You may not like it, you may deny it, you may fight against it or shun it or dismiss it but it will ALWAYS be there just the same. And this is why you will jot be able to let it go,just as the Prophet Joseph said would be the case....but I still wish you well in life...

There is no longer a requirement for new testament believers in Jesus to tithe. Tithing is an old testament principal where jewish farmers gave 10% of their farm produce to support the Levitical priesthood. This eas replaced by the apostles doctrine which provides fir the needs of all believers who are Royal Priests. See acts2v42-47 and Acts4v32-37. Giving in the new testament was to meet believers needs and not to support churches
