I was a little kid when this "joke" was popular. My parents kept saying it all the time. I didn't get it then and still don't. Is it funny cause of how he talks or something else?
You just haven't had that breakthrough moment yet, that's all. Some get it right away, while others need to be overexposed to it 'ad nauseum' and others have it occur on their death bed. It's gonna happen, just a matter of when your receptive to it .
There is definitely a big gap between people who find this funny and those who do not. Seems that those who find it funny were kids when this came out, and that’s really about it because it seems that it falls flat with any other audience at all. Personally I do not think it’s funny at all, not even slightly. Has nothing to do with older comedians and comedy styles either, love plenty of comedians from the 70’s and 80’s… but this is just not funny to me at all.
born in 92' aged 30: i think i found out the joke through a dirty interpretation of the joke. took me this long but i wont be calling anyone dick anymore.
This is not even a little funny. The only way I see anyone laughing at this is if they smoked a lot of weed or were tripping on mushrooms/lsd, I genuinely belive that's why most people in that time found it funny if they did. There's no excuse to say comedy wasn't as good lots of material holds up today whats funny will always be funny and what's not never will ( barring unforseen real world relevant developments) but this shid is stupid
This is the best thing thats ever happened. NASA should send recordings of this into space so Aliens can laugh too, as well as promote good relations between aliens and humans.
Hey Jameson? Hey what? You can call me J Jonah Jameson, J. Jonah, Mr. Jameson, I don't care just don't come in here without pictures of Spider-Man or you're fired., I want everyone to know who the real criminal is.
He’s still got it…whatever it was 😂 RIP Bill Saluga
This shit has me rollin
Hey Johnson, I hope you're doing well. heh heh.... Ray 3J. Classic
Me, after he’s finally finished talking: ok

I think, I finally get it now. This is an awesome breakthrough for me
Yeah, me too. I have found that it changed my life in profound ways. Even food tastes better now.
White guy imitating a black guy imitating a white guy. Elvis did it too.
No more than Charlie Pride was a country singer. Actually, Elvis was a mix of Country music and blues.
As funny as strep throat
Granted, but it comforts one to know that from now until our death bed, we doesn't have to refer to him as Johnson any longer.
RIP Mr. Bill Saluga. Your career lives on thanks to old classics that have since been restored 🎥🎬📽️🎞️
This litany of monikers was this guy's sole shtick, and I always loved it.
#RIPBillSaluga 😢
"okay see.. you're laughing. And i dont know why" - Bobby Hill
Bill Saluga - Ace Trucking Company alum - he ran this routine to stardom
Classic

RIP Ray. You were funny and I remember his many TV appearances growing up in the 70s. I would laugh at my parents laughing.
I’m already sick of him 😂
I have never heard of this guy until now. I’m currently listening to Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru and he mentioned that he died.
"I'd like to hear more from the guy who said 'Hey Johnson!'"
RIP Bill Saluga....a real funny dude!...
RIP
I loved this routine so much I named my dog RJ! Ace Trucking Company was hilarious. The seventies were really special for comedy.
Rest in peace Johnson
Rest in peace, Bill. Thanks for the laughs.
William Saluga died March 28, 2023 in Los Angeles, rest in peace Bill

this man's name is the funniest joke he's ever told
This routine is as unfunny now as it was when it was first performed.
This is funny how? Give me Mel Brooks, Rodney Dangerfield, Steve Allen.
He actually had a full comedy routine: czcams.com/video/wIs3mcyrK7o/video.html
