Good job reviewing the film
9 out of 10 for me. This was a 🎬 that Sylvester wanted to buy, so it would never be put out on the market. He thought it would be a career killer for him. It started out as a 3 1/2 hour movie. They edited 2 hours off the original running time.

John Boles seems so out of place, Mae Clarke who could give excellent performances doesn't this time, Van Sloan & Frye are very effective, Karloff & Clive exceptional, & that poor kitten who didn't like the little girl & was trying hard to escape
