1000% snowboarder's fault. Easy right carve when skier and kid come into view. In fact, they're in view the whole time. Squid behavior, and could have been worse.
A Tic-Tac? Like a fresh breath mint?
Saw it right off. You must be a terrible driver to not anticipate that other skier.
grown ass man doing this? totally not pathetic
💜
I would say half of each, i think cutting the entire run is bad but also going that quick while everyone is going a slower is also pretty bad. Not 100% your fault.
His dad was with the other child. He probably told this one not to venture off and he did anyway.
Is this cranmore?
Caring doesn't cost anything
i remember when i was 8 i wiped out when on a blue with some older siblings and cousins. they all laughed and left me behind - not necessarily being mean spirited, as i was a good skier and they prob thought i was fine - but i wasnt able to get my skiis back on due to snow being all over them and i started bawling. i remember a young couple stopped and helped me get up, and then i walked down the hill by myself, bawling. even if kids can 'figure things out' - and at that age i was already going on double blacks - it can be really scary to be by yourself, in all that heavy equipment, in the snow.
So many bad boys in this video.
😂didn’t even notice to people pointed it out. I’ll be more mindful when filming future videos
@@ByondTheNorm Please don't be! I love it when people are naturally themselves.
Upgrade your misuse of the term ‘price point’ and speak proper English: just say ‘price’. Price point is a technical term and is not a synonym for price. See, if you do it right, you save the weight of all those unnecessary electrons and help keep my blood pressure down. And you’ll sound like you know what you’re talking about.
Yelling at some1s little kid learning to Ski is sum degenerate shi
I didn't really judge at first. My parents didn't ski but took me to the mountain anyway. When I was his age I just went up alone and figured it out. But if I was the dad no way I would just let the kid be stuck and frustrated and worn out like that. That's messed up IMO. It's way past the kid figuring it out and turning into a negative experience that might make him stop trying or wanting to learn.
This was so brilliantly done!!! Great job!! You're easy to follow, loved your set up on this video. Just ran the damn Hyrox in NY!! KICKED my ass good!! Loved it tho...I agree it's the tougher of the 2 FOR SURE!! Had to go into survival mode last 30 min😫😫🤠🤩
Nice and congrats! Wishing I participated in it. That NYC hyrox looked awesome!
Noy old enough there ace. Vast vast majority of real trail trees are long gone, do better.
Just make an effort.. its a potential life threatening sport & young ones need help & guidance, an for a stranger to stop an help - requires a Thank You kind sir.. ffs tighten up people.
If he was pulling your leg im sure you'd feel it
Well done agreed we need to look after the Little ones!
Very bizarre parenting choice there
How do you plan the times for the super and sprint same day id be worried I’ll miss my time for the sprint during the super ?
Gotta pay for an early morning spot and then get a late start time. They let you go later up to the last wave. They just won’t let you go earlier than your designated start time
It's sad to see that a lot of people are getting priced out of a great hobby. Good video!
In the Adirondacks I camped in a big area full of trees looking like this. Hundreds. All pointing the same direction. Seems pretty sure a hard blow and snow laid them down when young, then they grew skyward again.
They all meant different things, different bends different meanings
Great to know. Thanks!
So my understanding is that yes, humans manipulated trees for guidance reasons, BUT animals also influence the shape of trees by rubbing antlers, tusks, etc which can also drastically change the shape of trees. Learn YOUR area. If this happens to be a pattern in your area where these types of trees tend to point north then that could be a good explanation. If there doesn't seem to be a pattern, well then...
Trees were manipulated at saplings by the Native Americans. The spliced, marked and intertwined different plants/trees fir their purposes.
that tree not old enough to have been made in the early 1900s
Nope. I see these trees all the time. Just a growth defect
I don't think the north thing is correct, but I do know indigenous cultures would train/modify trees to mark trails
That was my Video!!!!! I was contracted to work on a reserve in Manistee, Michigan! Thank you for going out, and making this video that touches my heart, I also followed you. @ByondTheNorm
That’s so awesome man! Thanks for sharing some pretty cool knowledge. I love finding things like this along my adventures. You got a follow back!
The North he is referring to on his phone is just the compass, the blue arrow is the directing the phone/ tree is pointing... which looks to me like northeast. Anyone else see
I have followed them to some amazing bluffs!!! Yes it is true
It's too young to be made by Natives. Maybe Bigfoot did it.
Heavy snow falls bend a new tree or branch and slow thaw makes it permanent. Mother Nature did it!
Obviously that tree isn’t that old. 20, maybe as old as 50. But, unless a ghost of your ancient Indian way finder was skulking around the woods in 1971, I’m thinking you can just call that one wind damaged
That tree is not that old where are you in the states and the time it takes to do that during the movement sorry but that sounds l I ke barn yard filler
I was always told they were pointed towards a water source? I may be wrong but I was always told that
You obviously dont spend too much time in the woods
The larger ones might be, but.many are from storms where other trees or snow fell on top of them
It's a real thing they trained them to grow like that I know where several are in Virginia I think it was way before 1900 alot of them are dying off now.
Because it so much easier to find a tree in the middle of no where to fifure out your dirtection or to find a body of water. What foolishness.
They dident need to do this to know dirrection. They had the sun, the moon, the stars, and moss on the trees.
Ummm yea. The tree is MAYBE 50 years old. Unless you’re on an Indian reservation, pretty sure that’s not what caused this tree to be this way
I was told the bend indicated water or safe area to camp. Like a cave. Done by native Americans years ago
Another tree fell on it when it was smaller. 100% BS coincidence!
But that tree is less than 50 years old. That also happens when a branch fall on it and damages it.
You’re wasting your time. They want to believe it’s some navigation aid or otherwise left there. Natives knew the landscape for generations & didn’t need to bend trees. But if they did, all those trees would have died off long ago. Almost every one I see on these videos are trees less than 100 years old. But don’t tell them, they’re gonna believe what they want.
@@bigtroutYou're being just as pigheaded if you refuse to have a dialog and just flatly assume nobody wants to hear that. I'm curious to unserstand why it does or doesn't hold up, and I'm sure others are too. He even asked if his leg was being pulled and gave others an opportunity to correct his info, so I'm really not sure where your ire is coming from.
@@chrw756 No ire. But when you point out these weren’t “marker trees” people get all irritated, your response to me being a good example. Look at metalsurgeon’s post I was replying to. He said that tree is less than 50 years old. Thus it is NOT any “marker” tree. I’ve seen trees like this a number of times. If a sapling has a large limb fall across it, bending it over permanently, it will grow in this fashion, naturally. And unless the tree is at least 150 years or more old, then native peoples didn’t form them nor use them. But people get all excited about finding one, which I understand, but if someone points out the tree isn’t old enough and/or most are naturally occurring they tend to want to shoot the messenger. That was my point in replying to metalsurgeon’s post. Nothing more, nothing less.
I have one across the street. My understanding is that it points to water. And that one points towards a river
America's first road maps. Thong trees are very intriguing, and I highly recommend you research these. Typically, they point to trails, bodies of water, etc.
I tore my ACL on my second ski lesson when I tried to learn to ski 😂 I collapsed and couldn't walk, I had to be taken to the clinic by ski patrol in a sled. Luckily no one was yelling at me 🙃
Of course not! Just make sure too much time doesn’t pass before you crack a joke 😄 smiles and laughter makes almost everything better instantly!
It’s either a joke or something beautiful we see in nature that squashes it immediately lol
