Hi there! I did my bachelor in media & communications so I can't comment on the boomed course. Rent prices will vary depending on which accommodation you choose. It also depends what kind of apartments/room you choose. I would recommend to check out Student Housing Australia for some more affordable options. Other student accommodations are Unilodge, Student Village Melbourne, Scape, Urbanest. At university you can customised your schedule because most of the time there are different class times you can choose from. But with biomedicine I think you will have more classes because there are the practical classes/workshop. My advice would be to make your schedule as soon as the portal is open because most of the time if you do it later, the classes that are available will start super early in the morning or super late at night. So keep an eye on that! It also depends on how busy you want to be. Some of my friends packed their classes into 2-3 days so they have the rest of the week off (this is good especially if you're thinking of doing some part-time work). But some of my other friends prefer to have a few classes per day which means they have to go to uni 5 days per week. Hope this helps!

Hi there thank you! Living alone can be tough but it's also super fun if you think about it positively. We can keep growing, maturing our minds and discover more about ourselves. You can discover some new hobbies like cooking, and it trains you to be able to maintain your space (keeping things tidy, etc). Things can get lonely especially with lockdowns, etc but that's when you can reach out to friends or family for a chat or a catch up video call! It can be a bit difficult in the beginning but with time you'll be able to get used to it. Hope you are staying safe 😊

For me personally I had my own kitchen and bathroom because my room was a studio. If you had a shared room then you would have to share bathrooms and common areas like living room and kitchen 😊

It really depends on what kind of room you have: Shared rooms can be anywhere from $250-$350 per week so around $13k - $18.5k but single rooms can be $400-$500 per week so around $20.8k - $26k ~ but this is a super rough estimation! It all depends on what kind of accommodation you choose. Hope this helps 😊
