KPRL 2009 is a creation of Pete Stevens to display the talented young people involved within the school and its surrounds.
Generally, KPRL2009 hopes to give a platform for the promotion of Keebra and maybe even shed a little bit of light on why the Keebra Park Rugby League program has earned the success that it has.
The channel will aspire to be light-hearted and respectful. However, humour will be attempted indiscriminately, which will hopefully be obvious…
While we are more than happy to have anyone comment on the videos or anything about the school, we will delete any comments that contain racist, abusive or derogatory language. Keebra Park Rugby League 2017 - National Champions
Just a short glimpse of the Open Rugby League experience at Keebra Park State High School in 2017.
Probably important to note that the vast majority of the players in this squad (15 of the 18) have been at the school since grade 8 and developed through the years to what you see here. So the Keebra brotherhood is stronger than it’s ever been. There is absolutely no doubt that the Keebra Park Rugby League Program is entrenched with a significant ability to develop, not only quality footballers with a genuine potential NRL career is second to none, but quality human beings making positive impacts in their communities.
This ability seems to have grown even more dramatically in the last few years.
It's an honour to be part of a program with such an innate ability to turn boys into well rounded, disciplined, committed men.
It also needs to be noted that Blake Scott had significant input into the development of this piece, in fact he was the creator of the footage and the progression of the "Thunder" segment.

A little bit of fun we had with Harry Tyson-Wilson. Harry is a young English player who spent a semester at the school in 2012. He is currently at Hull FC and has recently played for the England youth side. He comes from good rugby league stock with his father and two brothers all having played or are playing at the top level.

No surprise Really league players are better suited to 7s than 15 a side union players. Not to mention the whole Keebra squad was professionally contracted and attended a sports academy school.Top 7s programs are trained similar to how NRL teams are trained. Most Aussie 7s players come from backgrounds in both sports. And I remember at the time there was a lot of talk as most of the keebra side were poached from schools in NZ so they defs had union backgrounds.
