    Do you know where I can get a brush guard like yours? I saw only 2 on ebay, one doesn't ship (you have to pick it up). The other is $1000 and used. I'll take used, but I was hoping for a little less in price with minimal rust.

    I have a 1998 Deville and I am trying to do this recharge of the AC system. I thought it would be easy as the video is exactly my engine. I ordered a gauge from Amazon and it did not have that blue color but a brass end. When I went to attach it - supposed to be a fool proof attachment. Well my end was too big and did not attach. The provider did send other attachments and my question is....could I use a adjustable wrench to take off the nipple that is on the low side and replace it with one that fits. I don't want to attempt it before knowing if I will damage that aluminum tubing. Not sure how I can attach a couple of pictures.

    • @notsofast2325
      @notsofast2325 Před 2 dny

      Please don't remove the fitting. you will lose all your refrigerant! If that happens you will have to vacuum the system. I would send everything back and get the right gauge. You can find them at your local parts store. Good luck

    One last thing, as all of my hamsters are now running in the same direction in my head LOL please please check your tires and especially your spare tire to make sure the dot date is less than 10 years old. If you are in an accident involving injuries most investigators will check the condition of your tires and the dot date as part of establishing liability and cause of accident. Now this probably involves things such as condition of your tread because you slid or the tire exploded or something like that but it also leads them to want to see the date and look at the dry rot on the side of the tire and things of that nature. Again this mainly deals with bad accidents not just because you need to get towed or you need a tire change. Bottom line is, when an investigator is establishing fault and the parameters and conditions that participated in the accident they will go to the tires as well as the driving data that is stored in the computer of your car. This establishes braking, & speed.. have a good day

  • @mrobvious1100
    @mrobvious1100 Před 5 dny

    Another slightly cheaper alternative is, if you have a 150 watt inverter or something close to that, you can connect it to the DC outlet or clamp it to your battery and just use an electric drill to quickly take off your lugs and put them back on, and you can still use a breaker bar to break the lug and cinch the lug down. If you fail to plan you plan to fail

  • @mrobvious1100
    @mrobvious1100 Před 5 dny

    I have one more little thing to add, consider going to Harbor Freight and getting yourself one of those silver tire inflators with the coiled yellow hose. I have a suburban and I caught a nail on 95 coming back from Disney world, on the driver side rear tire, and my TPMS warning signal came on. I can hear the tire hissing. I put the compressor on and blew it up to 40 and then hustled to my next exit and stopped on a flat surface which I think was a gas station parking lot. If you're handy, these are definitely the things you want to carry. Slip-on suit gloves, a small prescription bottle filled with Gojo, a quart of water & towels, an impact wrench 3/8 paddle bit for lowering your spare tire, the proper lug socket, a piece of flat wood about 18 inches by 18 inches. I have actually made all of my kids who are in their 20's, go out and change the tires on their car two or three times in the driveway for practice. It was 104 degrees last week, and AAA told me they are very busy it would be about an hour and a half for a simple Tire change service. I said screw that and did it myself. Unless you had a catastrophic tire failure, that mini compressor is an awesome way to keep blowing up your tire and getting you down the road until you can get to an exit, or a very very wide pullover Lane. If people are stupid enough to drive into the back of a state police vehicle on the side of the road, what do you think they will do to you when you're trying to change a tire and your 3 inches away from the right lane? Now if you have a pull off plus 10 or 15 ft of grass, good luck trying to Jack car up if it's on the passenger side and it's on the grass and you don't have that wood.

    Question. You removed what looks like an aftermarket motor. (White fan) and installed a factory oem fan? I see you cleaned the back plate with the three fins and installed the back plate. Was that correct? Reason i ask is my dads 1994 deville with a 4.9 deville has a problem, and the fan stays on with the key out of the ignition. The car has 50 ,000 miles. I have been looking to replace the fan, but everyone says the original is best, with less noise and lasts. I can not find one but only aftermarket .iIwas wondering if i should try this and clean the 3 contact blades . If that does not work, what fan with module do you recommend? Thanks!

    This job sucks. I’m attempting it on my 04. As it turns out the bottom nut was seized and the whole bolt started spinning after it ripped through the bumper underneath. So I took the bumper cover off (which should’ve been easy but it’s 95 degrees out here right now) so I could get to the nut which is a fuckin torque! Bent my torque drive trying to loosen it. I’ve just given up. I’m about to cut the damn thing out.

      @@DyinBreed713 you're not unscrewing the bolt, it's used to move the tensioner. You dont want to unscrew the bolt.

    Sir, whats your take on upgrading to a 2011 unit on a 2006 Tahoe 5.3. All the upgrades videos I saw were for duramax trucks, wondering if it will fit a 2006 Tahoe/yukon 5.3 or 6.0 ?

    Thanks, 👍. This gives me an idea of how my neighbors GMC spark plugs replacement will be. I was asked today if i could help do it and it looks fairly simple. Although, she has the 2004 year. I probably going to buy myself the spark plug boot puller, i don't have one and definitely need one because I'm always having trouble pulling my plug boots and slamming my knuckles into metal everytime i do my '05 ford explorer.thanks again 👍.

    THANK YOU! This is what I needed when I typed in "how to use wood putty". Instead I got videos that were for more advanced folks. Or some guy just blabbing on and on. Thank you for having a simple video for people who just want to see someone else use the stuff so we can learn how to use wood putty. Lol you're awesome man

      If they don't move at all you may have to check your fuse. or have them replaced.

      Do the hoses get hot and feel pretty firm when up to temp? you may have two separate issues.....bad temp sensor or you could also still have lots of air inside the system. Good Luck
