Transportation Group Chair John Lieswyn will interview Thomas Nash, a regional councillor and Transport Chair for Greater Wellington Regional Council. Thomas has a background in setting up and running organisations and political campaigns to achieve progressive change at local, national and international levels. Before being elected as a regional councillor in 2019, Thomas spent 15 years overseas working on the protection of civilians in armed conflict. He is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors, serves on the board of directors of NZ smart city infrastructure company Big Street Bikers, is an active member of the Green Party and is Social Entrepreneur and Adjunct Lecturer in Politics at Massey University.
