Are these brushless motors? If they are il get it, the Milwaukee head doesnt swivel which puts me off
These are hydraulic so i dont think there is any motor or if there is i havent seen anything to say brushed or brushless. Sorry i cant be of more help . Also i think ACO103 is the only one which swivels the older ones dont . Thanks for watching.
Can you get replacement blades for these?
As far as i am aware no . None of the maufacturers of these have replacement blades .
I regret I didn't buy it in Lidl when they had them in early 2020s. I think they were cheaper around £25-£30 bare, and then you add battery. I also like the idea of very lightweight tool that does the job. I have 20 volt version of it, which is a bit heavier but still quite light. I use it mostly for red and brown plugs, but a few times i used it with 1metre 10mm sds bit to drill through thick brick wall. Just be gentle and slow. And this 20 volt version is my favourite tool. I have heavier ones, 36volt Makita, 28volt Milwaukee, number of corded ones, but my little 20 volt Lidl is my favourite. I think when I get my hands on 12volt Parkside it will became my new favourite. Thanks for your video.
Yeah these are a great little drill for the small jobs i have had a few issues with the batteries staying charged both otherwise a great tool. Thanks for watching.
good video i love tools
i also love tools ... probably too much 😅. Thanks for watching
merhabalar Wolfcraft Mg310 ile arasındaki fark nedir?
There are some slight differences. The new handle the bar for pushing the glue has a different handle and i think its slightly lighter. I havent used it but just from pictures thats all i can tell.pretty much the same tool.
@@mbtoolreviews thanks ((:
Good video, wanted to buy but now I saw that the edging is not so good with this tool s will continue to use Stanley knife.
Most expensive thing i bought from ali was 20€ cyclone dust separator -and i love the bloody thing ,its well made it came with hose clamps, gasket, mounting hardware and a little template for drilling holes. For 20€ it works flawlessly nothing but a little bit of fine dust goes trough ,for 80€ i made my cyclone system out of parkside ash vacuum cleaner and car cleaning kit. Sometimes they do cheat ,once they sent me 20mm counterbore magnets that were supposed to be n52 but they are n35 ,yet everywhere in title it says n52.When you read description it says n 35 with small print.Still good for what i used them and they were cheap but dishonesty just sucks. . . Or when they write HSS tap and die tool and you get carbon steel. . .
I think im going to have to look into that i want to get a cyclone setup for big woodworking jobs.
Have a look at a 6200 face mask with interchangeable filters.
Is that the 3M mask ?
@@mbtoolreviews Yes and no,model is a 3M but they are made in china by everyone. Most of the time on picture it will be 3m but in reality you get some no name brand. I had one made by Dainu from banggood and it worked fine for several years before rubber started to smell funny . So it may not be 3m but it doesnt mean its necessarly a bad quality. Since i am using mask 99% of time for dust i use 3200 now.Its a cheap copy made of silicone but it works flawlessly and filters are super cheap+you can wash filters 4-5 times before you throw them out.
Im very skeptical about using these sites for safety wear. If i can find a way to test it i might compare ut to my jsp mask .
I have the Todays Tools kit, I don’t have to replace awkward taps too often so for me, the Nerrad wasn’t worth the extra cost. Having used the fixed basin spanner’s, the spring loaded claw type and now the TT ones, the TT kit is way ahead of the others. I paid £40 for mine.
I was replacing a set of taps the other day and i only brought the nerrad with me and i kept getting the handle stuck. I was wishing i had the TT with me aswell . I think there both great kits i do agree though the price is too much for the nerrad.
Ever given these a go on smaller basket sizes? I've got a load to do once we get all the brackets up. I'm debating on getting the straight 250mm cutters (they don't sell 250mm angled), but only if the cut is decent and easy enough for 100mm basket. Otherwise will pick up the 200mm cutters for dedicated screw duty!
No sorry i actually only really use them on screws and band strap and stuff . I would definitely go with the biggest size u can afford and want to carry just for leverage. Becuase anything repetetive is gonna be tough even with these. Hope that hepls thanks for watching.
Well done. I just purchased one.
Hope you like it . i find mine very useful and thanks for watching.
i have been getting work done to my house, and all the pvc faias gutters everything replaced, trouble is i thought it was ok, i just discoverd all the new downstairs plastics have somekind of dry yellow substance on, its absolutly atrochas, i shows a builder friend he told me they used the wrong stuff for pvc, and thats why its yellow. its awful
Why would anyone use this on new pvc
How do I remove this off new pvc it's all yellow
Hi Christine, this is a 2 part glue so im not sure what your using it on . If you are able to give some context i might be able to help . However c a glue can usually be cleaned off with acetone or rubbing alchohol but with pvc you may want to try a test area is acetone can also disolve it . Hope that helps thanks for watching.
The ratchet without the sockets, is a ratchetting 19mm ring spanner.
I must have overlooked that thanks for letting me know .
Hi. Any idea why some these nova press guns have a rotating head and others don't? I have the geberit 103plus identical to yours minus the colour, but my head doesn't rotate, yet I've seen others do however. Be nice to know it's a matter of pushing a button to allow it to rotate 😅
Hi i had a look at the gebrit and like you said it looks identical and the model numbers line up. Before the ac103 the other novo press guns didn't swivel. Maybe its novopress specific. On mine it just swivels by hand no button needed. Thanks for watching.
@mbtoolreviews I'm starting to think it must me! My friend also has the same model as me, and his doesn't swivel either. What a shame, considering their identical in every other way.
Is that propress jaw can be change a pex crimp jaw?
You can buy different jaws v press or m but as this is the same as the milwaukee version the pex jaws should be available for it . If not there are some other press fit that do pex. Thanks for watching.
Яка ціна такого інструменту?
In the uk they are around £1300 to £1800 for this model depending on the heads, for other press fit machines it’s £800 up to maybe £2000 with heads and attachments. Thanks for watching.
Are they flat?
Yes they are. Thanks for watching.
not sure that it fits the normal trim base
Ill have to double check that and get back to you .
It doesn’t so this is hardly a review.
To answer your question, Yes it does fit the trim base if you use the lock ring but not the adapter plate thats for the plunge base. It is a bit of a pain to fit if you have the dust guard on. If you would like i can post a short video showing its install. Thanks for watching
Did you evaluate the scratch pattern they produce to see if there is any contamination from lower grits in the higher grit stones?
No , I wasn't too worried about contamination as any residual grit or burrs should wash away with the lubricant . But even if it didn't, im not particularly fussed as long as my chisels come out sharp at the end.im still fairly new at sharpening, so that might be a bit more of a pro level question. Thanks for watching.
@@mbtoolreviews sorry, I wasn't very clear. What I meant was that some cheap diamond stones, especially dual sided ones have grit contamination during their manufacturing process, where coarser particles will be embedded on the finer grit plates. You can see that with the scratch pattern basically remaining the same when you go up in grit. I am trying to get a real 1000 grit diamond stone, but I didn't see any review that looked into that and found a "true" 1000 stone
@@Aexium I think that's mostly a problem with the dual sided ones, since they go through the same lines, so coarse particles get into the fine side. Always go for the single sided diamond grits. I'm going to give one of these a try just for fun and maybe a gift to my brother that bought a super steel knife without a good way to sharpen it. I'll grab a DMT Fine if this is toast, although I might just do it anyways.
@@mikafoxx2717 yeah, I know, but these plates are so cheap it's hard to not be concerned
Nice video ; Probably u need another video 4 quickwire ones next! I'd rather buy quickwire
I think they are the same, tool theres quite a few different brands but if you look at them they all look identical. I was going to get the quick wire but i went with c.k. because ive use a lot of there stuff before. Thanks for watching.
Sir, thank you for sharing
No problem, thank you for watching.
I bought this to hang a curtain pole. I was a bit disappointed to find out I would need to drill a hole to the side in order to mount this. I am reluctant to do so as I do not want to fill & paint the hole left behind by the screw used to mount the bracket. Is there any way around this? Or another way I can go about mounting it with as little damage to the wall as possible? Thanks in advance 👍🏼
Using the bracket u could use those sticky hooks that peel off or the base has magnets that you can stick to a metal surface . Thanks for watching.
At time of writing this is on save a 12% deal at Screwfix. Was £169.99, now £148.99 inc. VAT. Just ordered mine for pick up tomorrow. My battery screwdriver is on its last legs so time to move on. Didn't realise the different heads fitted together like that, pretty cool function. Thanks for the review, helped me make my mind up 👍
Glad to help thanks for watching
Where did you buy these from? Thanks!
I bought them on amazon and i think you can get them on ebay aswell.
Awesome, great thanks

No problem ,thanks for watching .
The way you cut confirmed you are not a man of tools. You must cut it as close to the fulcrum as possible.
🤣 wow love the expert analasis there . I am most definitely a man of the tools but yes your right I shouldn't be using leverage to my advantage thanks.
What is the best tool to use for very tight spaces? My tap in the kitchen needs changing, but it’s very tight
Youll need both a wrench for the tap connector and back nut. This set does both and has 2 bars or can be used on the rachet or a screwdriver head with the same connections. Failing that you could use one of the adjustable basin wrenches with telescopic arm but this set costs about the same .hope this was of some help thanks for watching.
@@mbtoolreviews Thank You!!
good video i guse the same and i can get my stuff relly sharp free handed i love them
Im not quite good enough at keeping the angle right free hand so i need the guide 🤣. Thanks for watching.
@@mbtoolreviews same i am just too lazy to buy a guide
CAn't help thinking that drill drivers/impacts and well all drills could/should have a built in chuck electromagnetic capablity.
Does it do Impact too?
It looks awesome!!! Great for light work for personal stuff easy to carry a impact and a drill at the same time!😮
Hi it doesnt do imact although it does look like one this is strictly a drill with multiple attachments. it doesnt have the torque of an impact hope that helps .thanks for watching.
Karlpopewoodcraft has reviewed this brass bushing kit and he demonstrates that the bushes and their locking ring fall right through the fixed base - they can't be secured at all. They work with the plunge base, but not the fixed base. Can you confirm this please ?
Ouch! That's knackered, mate. It's going to be a new one.
Stay tuned i have a part 2 coming
i have been useing to tool for few years on customers houses for better results get your self spray bottle and fill it half way up with water and some dish soap not to much spray the silicone and your tool it give it much better finish
Hi gareth , thanks for the comment .i actually did a video on this just after the review. i use the soap method now have been for a little while and i agree i does give a much better result. Thanks for watching.
Wow! Looked like a hiding to nothing for a while there! I'd have thrown that chisel out if it was one of mine! As soon as they bend they're done, unless you use it for something like brickwork. Little tip for sharpening - use a Sharpie and colour the bevel of the chisel in, that way you can see what's been ground off and what isn't... Nice instructional, though - thanks for the hard work. 🙂 Question for you - when you're sharpening the 30° micro, do you need to adjust the position if you're removing chips and dints in the tip? Some of those chips looked about 1mm deep, so once removed, should the guide be adjusted and pulled back 1mm?
Yeah it wasnt actually one of my chisels i got it off a freind it was all banged up and i thought it might be interesting to gove it a go. I would say if you have and chips or dings like the one in the video, it's best to grind the 25 degree until there all gone then add your 30 degree micro bevel on a perfect surface. I probably rushed it a bit at the end so i dont think i got them all out , but it was really just for fun . Also thanks for the tip and thank you for watching, hope it was some help.
@@mbtoolreviews - Certainly does help. I chose your video mainly based on the Amazon items I've been looking at, those diamond stones in among them.
Every major manufacturer says not to use liquids to tool with if you look close enough at their tech manuals. Here is what DOW ( one of the largest silicone manufacturers in the world and the manufacturer you are using) says: NOTE: Do not use liquid tooling aids such as water, soap or alcohols. These materials will interfere with cure, adhesion and create aesthetic issues. Page 75 of their Dow Construction Sealants Technical Manual I tried to leave a link but it kept getting deleted.
Professionals always use an angled tip. You were using the tip at the wrong angle and you have to remove the little point at the tip. You should be shooting a concave bead not convex. And there is absolutely no possible way to actually know how well it is bonded and you can’t do that without without doing an adhesion/ cohesion test. I have installed sealants professionally for ver 45 years.
The video was just my opinion and a test. i am by no means a pro at siliconing, i can get a nice bead but not anywhere near as fast or as good as you guys . Thank you for your tips I'll try them out they are very much appreciated and thank you for watching.👍

Thanks for the vid just got one realised theres nothing to refill the pen was wondering what type of ink i needed. Very to the point 👉
No problem glad to have helped
Hi there. What does t25, t100 ect standa for? Also, what brand and t rating would you recommend? What t rating is im the tracer marker? Thanks in advance!
Where did you find t25 and t100 ? is it on their packaging? i haven't heard of it but if you can tell me where you saw it ill try to explain. If your reffering to the ink i just bought marker pen replacement ink any type of marker ink should do.
@@mbtoolreviews that was lightning fast reply, thanks. I googled some random permanent marker ink refills and came across different types. T25 and t100 were on the bottles. Maybe T is for thickness?
`Im a bit confused by the markings in the box. Is the OD of the say the 30mm bush 51/64" as it says or 30mm as you'd expect?
I think that they use the same box for metric and imperial and depends on which set u buy. I would just double check the OD with a tape or calipers if u have them , as there is always micro differences.thanks for watching.
Ohhhhhh I've been trying to figure this out before buying! Thanks, dude!
@@RhysMogg no problem glad to be of help thanks for watching.
My Makita 60 pc Impact XPS bit set. I have the 1/4 "magnetic bit holder and I placed a SO3 bit into the magnetic bit holder, not for nothing, how do you take the bit out.? I'm using a lot of force trying to pull it out. is there a trick to out or other feature? I'm trying not to mar the bits with pliers as a last resort.
It shouldnt be that tough to get out its just a magnet holding it in place. I wonder if either your bits are slightly thicker or if you got a bad stealthmount. It really shouldnt take anything more that a light pull to remove it. I would check with a dofferent brand bit to see if they go in (if you have any spare holes left). Other than that id ve looking for a replacement. Hope that helps & thanks for watching.
@@mbtoolreviews Thanks for suggestion, I just inserted an older Makita Gold Philips bit, and that bit came out with ease. Ill use dry cotton swab to clean the sides from any debris, and perhaps another swab with light olive oil or WD 40.
@@mbtoolreviews the swab came out black some, and the oil I added seem to help too...thanks bro
