This channel is simply a creative outlet for me to make the content I want. The channel contains mostly Jeep and general automotive related videos with a few other miscellaneous videos scattered here and there. Please feel free to comment on any videos, I will try to answer as quickly as I can. Please remember I'm not a professional and hopefully the content gets better over time. I try to release videos around once a week or every few weeks, honestly I don't always do something video worth every week, but I try!

Finished up the Power Tour LS swap for my son, time to give it back. It's a solid ripper but aside from a little tuning it's done. I'll miss ripping it around, on to the next one.

Putting some time in collecting parts to do a 6.0L swap on a 2010 JK to get ready for power tour in June. Sorry about the lack of content but it's winter here in MI and you can't do much but buy parts lol. Enjoy.

We had our final boat day of 2023 and enjoyed every minute, cruised to Detroit and had drinks with friends, couldn't ask for anything else.

Our annual color run to the U.P. was a success! Had a great time over 4 days and had to have traveled 200 miles while we were there.

I decided to peel away 4 $100 bills to buy this sweet piece of American history. Story goes it shuttled soldiers across the gulf of Mexico during Spanish American war. Anyway, we solved some overheating issues, head gaskets, rebuilt the carb and even got the old girl legal in the process. Check out the story from the late night Thanksgiving day purchase to the current ripper status.

Well my feeling on Jet boats are you learn everything in the first week, you buy it, it breaks down, you fix it then you sell it and move onto something else lol. I bought ours for $400, put a few hundred into it and sold it for $800

With that 5.3, are you running the 4L60e? If so I got 2 questions/requests. Do you know the length from the snout of the harmonic balancer to output shaft of the transmission? Do you think you would be able to get the transmission higher up if you needed to? I'm running a FLAT skid and would like it to clear if do-able. Thanks for any help.
I have a NV4500, but the next swap is a 5.3/4L60e/231j into a 1999 TJ.

I did a 5:1 dilution, rolled up for 45”. This was a recommendation of another video.
That might save a couple times of re-applying for sure.

In the end it wasn’t really worth bothering you for $28, prolly cost that in material and fuel to come get it. I just throw that stuff in to see if you watch the whole video anyway…

Anytime, I have a lot more wrenching going on than anything else. Trying to get through this swap and on to the next, but also don’t want to spend my whole summer in the garage sweating away working in cars.

Have you guys ever heard of tire deflators? Lower the tire pressure to allow the tire to mold better around the rocks and grip, instead of being rock hard bouncing off of them with minimal contact and zero control. This gives maximum tire traction, saves your rig, saves the trail, and possibly a life or two. It's great to see you all out having fun and enjoying everything, but there's good, better, and best ways of doing it. Take care, stay safe, and stay Trail Rated.
Believe it or not that’s 6 lbs of air, I’ve tried 4 lbs but it’s not something you can run 2 miles of trail on

Did you use an alignment bar to check for housing straightness? And where did you get that pneumatic press to press out the old tube from the center section?
I did not use an alignment bar, I’m guess it’s a case by case basis, but it was straight and has many miles on it with no issues. I actually borrowed the jack and cylinder, but they are pretty common and not to expensive.

The GoPro won’t “truly” record 24/7, it will run for a few days and shut of, I believe the card gets corrupted, I have to format it and then it will start recording in loop again. Prolly try a different card. The Bullet Point stuff is awesome, really a great product.

@@JeepWillysworkshop yeah, can't blame you...I melted the wiring off of mine and swapped in a gsxr750 motor with all the mods to make that work...not quite finished yet...but considering scrapping the boat in favor of a lighter hull to land the pump and such into
@@davepowell001 we had our fun with it, everything is so cheap we ended up buying a bigger boat and got rid of the Fling, it served its purpose and we had time to thing about something different. We had it out prolly 12 times, only overheated twice lol.

@@wearzymaan1541 sorry, no impeller...it is in a jet boat configuration. Its just the powerhead with the wet exhaust plate on the lower side of the motor. If interested for parts, let me know
That was really bad. Just an FYI in case you didn't know. Using regular tap water will cause rust because of the mineral content. You should flush it with distilled water. Using a hose is nice because you get more pressure, but distilled should be used. A lot of people think it was the fluid that went bad and turned brown, when in reality it was having regular water in the system. People use regular water in a pinch when they are low on coolant and eventually you get rusty nastiness like that.
I only use water to flush normally, course whatever was in there was 25 years old, should be good for another 25, or a LS swap.
