Why so close to the yellow ton?
Baltic Offshore Fishing: I’d just noticed that one. Far too close for comfort and you might think the helm was being just a little too cocky for the camera...... I was going to give them some stick for breaking the Solent speed limits. That buoy is the north cardinal “Gurnard” and it’s only 0.2 nautical miles off shore. But the definite speed limit arrival shows they were just... outside the limits. www.royalnavy.mod.uk/-/media/qhm/portsmouth/documents/wash-and-slow.pdf?la=en-gb. Let’s hope they slowed as the went across Cowes entrance.
