My supernote was truly great. Loved it. But... getting older. Can't see quite as well. Lack of a backlight was a dealbreaker, finally had to get rid of it. I understand their reasons, I just don't have to like them. But if you're young, the supernote is pretty tough to beat.

So many apps; to be honest it is more the time spent hopping from a platform to another and then consolidate, than actually get work done. What works for me is a simple calendar online, GTD workflow and Trello to keep track of things. - The calendar just hold the "what and when" with deadlines; nothing more as I don't need to see the whole story of what is going on there. - GTD framework is perfect for 99% of the cases and projects (personal and at work), so that takes little efforts to be integrated in your daily life - Trello works everywhere and it is a better "kanban" than anything else you may find on the market, being simple, multi platform and if that app disappear, you can easily port 90% of that data on a piece of paper if you want, since there is no custom feature or specialized workflow tied to that platform (which is the problem I have with Obsidian, Ticktick and all the other custom platforms for task management). The key to be productive in the end is simplicity; the less you have to think about what you need to do to get organized, the faster you can get the work done. Removing friction is the main point of having Agile process at work; and I don't expect regular folks to use Agile also in their life outside work; but simplicity and abstraction are concepts that should be adopted by everyone for their sake. Otherwise when a platform goes down, you are back to square 1 having to learn all over again and port your workflow again on a different platform. Over, and over again.

I have one of these and I love it. It's let me fit a lot more reading in because it's always with me. I use syncthing to sync my books folder from my phone and computer. With Koreader installed on each device, it even syncs my progress and highlights. Most of the time I leave the wifi off though, because the battery is a bit small, which is the only real complaint I have. Definitely not a deal breaker though.

Hey pixelleaves, thanks for the video. I still find digital productivity tools intimidating. But I might try it, especially now that I saw how you made them work together. Also, have you switched to the Kindle scribe from the supernote A5x? Or do you use both?

I just got one of these because of your video but for whatever reason I can’t get the kindle app to work! I tried re installing it and it still won’t let me sign in

I really like your channel and how your videos are structured. What worked the best for me is to install a very good launcher for my Android which is called Beforelauncher. That way, I do not have any icons anymore but just titles. I also switched off all my notifications and I removed my Instagram. I realised Instagram was total waste of time. Im looking foward to buy the Supernote soon to replace my note papers floating around my desk. Thank you for your videos!

if you are not native english speaker, get the boox. local shops in any country out side the english areas have thier own app. if you buy kindle you stuck with english and only few pirated PDFs in your langaugge
