I build my own computer with all my hardware and my motherboard supports TPM 2.0 so I can update to Windows 11 on October 13, 2025. All Good here. The alternative would be Linux with multiple OS's some of these have an easy learning curve much like Windows and there is a program that allows you to run some Windows programs on Linux.

And then there will be Windows 12 due out within a year. I won't switch from Windows 10 for several reasons 1. Lotus123 97 works great on it (I hate and despise Excel) for my accounting (formerly a commercial real estate appraiser who wrote his own equations for DCFs within Lotus) and Word 10. I do not like the latest Microsoft Office group and don't want to have it in the cloud, just my desktop, laptop and 5 storage devices (3 HDs at 5 TB and 2 SS at 4 TB). I tried purchasing ESU for Windows 7 because I hated Windows 8.. as it was a graphics oriented but kept encountering various walls as an individual from buying the extended warranty plan. I hope I can extend the Windows 10 OS until 2026. I'll just purchase a new computer for Windows 12 then (unless it's a bomb like 2000/Vista/8/8+); otherwise, Windows 11. I want to run the 32 bit Lotus123 97 program. Maybe those updates you mention will permit running older programs. Windows 11 in 2021 didn't work for me.

wht if you called the first number and gave no real info or name and hung up but then i got a 323 los angeles based area code number toyed with the guy as if i was 55 yrs old and didnt understand computers. I moved the mouse on a dell laptop i just got that has win 10.. the thing is before i actually called the number the webcam light flashed on as if it had taken a picture of me. I ran win defender quick scan, full scan and no threats were found. I was using my laptop to try and trace accomplices of a suspected X gf that may be stalking me on ig using fake sex bots. In the process of doing that i google image searched one of her weird pics from her facebook page and it took me to porn site of only fans. It was at that time this pop up thing showed up and looked almost the same as what you show in the video. I was using Ad Remover for microsoft but had it downloaded as i was using google chrome. What else do i need to do to make sure These indian hacker scumbags get their ip traced from proper authorities?? I wanna help catch these guys the third call after i called their bluff and broke character i used from the second call, i said i was going to report them to govt agencies that track hacker activity and one of them called back cussing me out and we had a yelling match back n forth. He had the nerve to mention "no one will catch me you black n word mofo ive been scamming people for 7 yrs!!" This is officially personal because my own elderly parents have their google accts i help manage to my main google gmail acct. Ok so you said i was confused in your previous video, and that i had misunderstood half of it. And you send me to this video where you would "explain more". So tldr of this video from your POV is that we must all find a budget to buy a new computer? What idealistic world are you living in? Yes, you and i are fortunate enough to purchase new computers or switch to an operating system like linux. But look outside at the real world, not your idealistic one. Most people, and most institutions *do not* have the money or technical skills to make that change. So are you just ignoring the fact that about 2 out of 3 computers are going to be forced to stay on windows 10? You had it on screen at 4:52 68,36% ! And their users wont do anything about it due to finances/technical skills (I dont blame them, it shouldnt have to be their responsibility, it's Microsoft's responsibility to ensure security)? The next few years are going to be a very interesting time for software security, not everyone can live in your idealistic world where they switch to windows 11. Im truly not trying to be rude, i am writing this with a sincere tone because it is really a serious issue that Microsoft has caused, and for most, buying a new laptop *is not* a solution as you claim it is.

I have a laptop from 2013. It has a 2 hour battery life, It has touch screen, it has Network connection (RJ45), It has a backlit keyboard. A PC that has all this costs today over 1,000 dollars. I have changed from hdd to ssd. It works very fast, without problems. But Microsoft you force me to buy a new one to run it Windows 11. I will switch to linux 2025.

Sometime, control alt delete is locked up and cannot start the task manager when this scam comes up. I always have task manager ON when my PC is running. Just in case this scam comes up and I cannot start the task manager ! It happened to me before.

Ever since Windows 11, opening valorant will freeze my video. I won't be able to click on anything, type anything, or input voice, but I can still hear the game for some reason. I tried refreshing my graphics card with ctrl+shift+windows+b, but that just makes my screen turn dark grey. I can't seem to find anything about fixing this, so PLEASE tell me ANY ideas ok fixing it.

Great video. While my CPU usage is below 10%, my RAM usage is in the 80-90% usually because Firefox has five or six tabs open, non-video yet. When my wife pushes it higher is when she leaves CBS Sports tab on so I have to close it down after she's through. Firefox uses a lot of RAM (I have 16 GB) on a high end computer so I'm thinking I should just double my RAM to 32 GB and problem solved. I also noted that Avast has 29 open processes in the background but draws probably under 2 GB.

I'd rather stick on Windows 10 then have Microsoft spying on me with Windows 11 many of us don't like the data collection that they are using it's why many of us don't make a Microsoft account and bypass it when on 11th and the fact that they are forcing us to upgrade our machines to use their software I'm appalled. It's why stay on Windows 10 when I need to use programs that use Windows but my everyday operating system will be Debian and Linux

I'm using Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021. That edition won't be losing support until January 13, 2032. I have plenty of time before I move over to Linux. When that does happen, I will use a type 1 hypervisor for Windows when I need to use it. Although by that time, that might not even be necessary.

Um... A browser can still work when an OS is no longer supported... The OS won't become less usable. As long as security can be ensured (e.g. with a 3rd party antivirus) your OS will be remain as usable in 20 years (provided you use compatible applications) as it is right now. It won't change, the catch is that altern operating systems will be becoming better (case study: windows 7 hasn't become less usable, it just hasn't become more usable either). I feel you made so many misconceptions about what the end of life really meant (or at least you simplified it in the wrong way when making the video). Final note: you make it as if a lot of us have a choice for switching to windows 11. About ⅔ of computer in use right now are incompatible with windows 11 because their hardware is over 5 years old. Perfectly good (and fairly powerful) computers that can run Windows 11 but aren't given access to it due to strict (and somewhat unnecessary) minimum requirements

Windows 11 is Dying, not 10. 10 is the most stable version of Windows and support far more devices then 11. The upgrade is too soon. No Point in upgrading to an unstable version of Windows.

im on windows 11 23h2 i will not go past that because i dont want their ai bullshit i also disabled so much shit that updates no longer work as they should i also use explorerpatcher plus openshell (classic shell) to bring back the windows 10 stuff and windows 7 clear task bar/small icons (windows 11 is okay but give me small icons and a clear task bar and ill be happy to use it plus stop loading bullshit in windows to mine us for data and make us your bug finders on live builds (yes im a windows insider have been since windows 8 was out for insiders)

I'm on windows 11, I don't like it very much. Microsoft's data collection and anti-privacy AI focus is really turning me off. Microsoft Recall is scary! My Music Production will go to macOS, My main machine will go to Arch Linux + KDE. I'm going to start with the Music Production Migration shortly after my move this year.

My computer cannot, unless forced, accept a Windows 11 installation. So I am in fact tempted to learn a Linux-based GUI for my computer. I play Second Life a lot, and I know people from Brazil and Australia. They keep very old operating systems such as Windows 7 and 8, going with anti virus software. For me, it is a matter not only of the expense (I simply cannot afford a new computer) as much as being tired of being jerked around my Microsoft. At any rate, there is a method of installing Windows 11 on my computer, even though Windows asserts that the mother board is not able to accept it. Installing Windows 11 without a hardware upgrade would still be costly, because I would have to buy Windows 11, have it installed, and buy WordPerfect for Windows 11, since it expires with the OS. How do I install Windows 11 on my 5 year old computer?
