@@clarksonoceallachain8536 I did want a manual RS but my girlfriend can only drive auto and I got my Premium Tourer for a pretty good price so settled on it. The RS looks very cool though!

My application was done shortly before the changes but I kept the car in Japan until last month. I was a bit concerned about getting it compiled actually, but my friend doing the compliance said he got the application in before the cut off. I guess we'll find out very soon.

I'm sorry for the long break between videos. Things have been a little crazy with some other Japanese purchases in recent months. I'll try to upload something on them soon. 😁 The good news is, the Cappuccino will be progressing soon. 👍

I think it would be hard to improve the 0-100km/h times on modern N/A kei cars without spending a lot of money. Are you using high octane fuel?

Thanks. I'll try to get some more vids done soon. My work roster is pretty hectic these days so it's hard to find the time. I think it was around 12psi from factory, from memory.

It took a while to find one! I'm going for a JAWS GT100 turbo. I should be picking it up next month!

I wish I'd only paid $5k for my car. When I lived in Japan (many years ago) Cappuccinos were $5k and I thought that was a little expensive. 😆 I never thought I'd spend this much on one (and I'm still spending money on it!). It must be a wild experience driving such a tiny car in the States. They're so much fun to drive.

Glad you enjoyed it. Other than the weather, it was a perfect day. The Shrine is the perfect setting and the cherryblossoms were beautiful. It was so good seeing all the old cars out despite the rain. I'd love to go there again. It was cool seeing the Leopard! I haven't seen many during my time in Japan so it was cool to see a nice example.

I bought and fitted them to the car in Japan before importing it. You may be able to get them through an importer. Unfortunately, Australia doesn't have many tyre options for kei cars.

Yeah, the lack of torque really showed when the car was under pressure. It would easily cruise at 110km/h once it got there, through. I've got some more cars to test on this trip, including turbo kei cars so that'll be a bit more interesting. 😁

It definitely feels better in the lower rev range now. Adding some boost should make a big difference to the numbers. I've already ordered a programmable ECU for the Cappa and am ordering a bigger turbo and injectors. 😁 I'll try to post some vids while I'm in Japan. 👍 When does your car arrive?

Yeah, the Japanese domestic car market has gotten out of control. I picked a really bad time to go through a mid-life crisis. 😄 15 years ago, I thought ¥500,000 was too much for a Cappuccino. Back then you could buy a R32 Skyline GTR for ¥700,000!

Yeah, it is. I thought it would be a bit easier than that as older kei cars aren't held together by much but it was a bit of a mess around. I'll have to check the globes for you when I'm back home next week. H7 sounds right from memory. I bought them from my local Repco. I even told the store person I wanted cool white light. 😵‍💫 Time for that beer! 😄
