A collection of videos to help teachers of English as a second language. Although, non-native English speakers will get something from these videos, They are not really for those learning English, but will they help those who are teaching it.
With more than 25 years experience of teaching and training teachers, I have decided to put some of that knowledge in videos to help you get the best of your class and give you some ideas of how to teach the different forms of English, including conditionals, reported speech and even subject reflective pronouns!

Anyway her Accent Is amazing
What Surprised me Is that She used Present Perfect For Everyday action, She Said I have Read books At the Library everyday, i have never heard That i was Told Simple present for Everyday Action like i read books everyday.
Thank you, sir. You're a real native speaker❤
Most useful video that I have ever watched by an experienced teacher. Thanks a bunch❤
Thank you sir. Your English is quite natural. ❤
Thank you sir for your correcting English teachers. I'm really proud of you. Congratulations❤
Maybe what you say (context) is what you do naturally as mother tongue, but what she said is written in every international English Grammar book: Cambridge, MacMillian...just to give examples.
Thank you so much. You are a great help. Hope to see more videos.
But then I take it you're a native speaker of English whereas she isn't a native speaker of English. She's Polish. Now , would you be willing to upload these lessons as often as she does ?
Thank you
She is a genius in some way, but you are absolutely right: PP: Past action has consequences in the present (a kind of continuum from a consequential perspective). I did not see this video of hers. I watched one video on CZcams two days ago. It's about "Must and Have to." She was very effective in catching up on the difference. Anyway, Many thanks, Professor! I retain your lesson: PP & PS: HOW and WHY
Be careful about WHOM you follow on line. Isn’t it more correct?
I am impressed O.o wow... awesome explanation!
Thank God you exist
I love your videos!
Thanks ❤
Thank you
❤❤❤. Aga is stupendous teacher of English
😢
I heard from a native speaker teacher that when choosing "in" or "on" for vehicles, you should consider whether you can get in them without bending over, full-length, and you can stand inside full-length. If so, "on" should be used, and if not, "in" should be used.
Got to disagree with you on this one. Ok, so yes it is used to ward off bad luck (Husband: The traffic's good; we'll get there in no time. Me: Aarghh, you've jinxed it now!) But also we DO use it when two people have said the same thing at the same time. Jinx! And you can 'shake on it' with your little fingers, like a pinky promise.
I looked this up before I made the video. Jinx is said when two people say the same thing - NOT because they have said the same thing - but because, by saying the same thing, they have done something that might bring bad luck.
I mean I agree.... He means to say he agreed to what she said..... she is starving
True. He acknowledges the truth of her claim that she is starving. However, agreeing that she is starving is not the same as sharing the experience of starving. In order to correctly use the phrase, he would have to be starving, also. Watching the video, I have no reason to disagree with her claim that she is starving; The 8 billion people on the planet also have no reason to disagree with her claim - so, according to the guy in the video, he should say "That makes 8 billion of us!"
But if i say: “I hate when it rains” and somebody says thats makes two of us, isn’t the word then used as an agreement?
No. What you are both doing is experiencing hatred. The shared experience allows you to respond with "That makes two of us". Consider this sentence: "The rain is horrible" You could not respond with "That makes two of us" (unless you want to say that you and the rain are horrible) You would have to say "I agee". This is because the person is not expressing an experience (hatred) that you can also experience.
Hey Geordie. Hope the capital is treating well. Cherrio.
I wonder how one person could say that he or she is an expert in everything with only twenty years of experience. Humbleness is important.
I've got nearly 20 years of experience ! I am an expect in everything ! Greetings from Casablanca ❤

What a simple point!! It did surprise me. This issue has been confusing for me for a long time. Now my mind is clear. Thank you so much for the valuable lesson.
Where are you going "to," True?
Where is the video Geordie?

The jinx part was very informative. In France we'd say "crisps" lol Same for the queue. I didn't know it was also used as a verb and only knew "join a queue"

I need to learn from you.
Hi. I teach online if you're interested.
Thank you for another beneficial video, too! For today's errors, even I could notice the funny parts, so I wonder why these guys use those mistaken expressions on their videoes because they are teachers. ....Should it be IN their videoes? There must be more errors in my English above. 🙈🧐 I wish I had made it understood at least.
Actually, your English appears to be very good. However, you were right to doubt yourself - it is 'IN their videos'. Still, you corrected yourself, which is great
@@PastTenseofBanana Thank you Gari! The word orders in English and my mother tongue are totally opposite and I often wish they were the same or close like English and European languages. English is fun though. I'll keep on learning.😊
You made my day Garry 😉😀 Please, do keep exposing those cowboys, will ya? Garry the Geordie ! You the GOAT 😉 I'll be seeing ya. 🖐

Hello, what’s the difference between making music and doing music?
Making music = creating a piece of music that did not exist in the past. Playing music = engaging in a music activity where you operate a music instrument. Doing music = studying music for educational purposes
@@PastTenseofBanana thank you! I heard in a song “let’s do some music” and it seems to me like it should ve been “let s make some music”. Am I right or does it work either way?
@@jogothekiller Ok this is a slightly different question to your first - nothing to do with you, but just how English works. We're now looking at the difference between do and make. The difference is all about creativity. If something didn't exist before your activity, use 'make'. This is why we say "I'll make dinner". Before the activity there was just a collection of food - no dinner. This is where it gets interesting, because we can say "I'll do dinner" Here, the expression focuses on the activity, the process. There is no creativity. Doing dinner is "egg and chips". It's basic and ordinary. "Making dinner is more sauces and flavours, etc. Doing and making music is the same. The more creativity, the more you would use 'make'. I hope that helps.
@@PastTenseofBananafascinating! This wasn’t the case, but I feel like people can easily screw up english lyrics if they aren’t fluent. Becoming aware of these little details really helps me understand the language at it s core, so maybe I ll be able to write good lyrics someday, thank you!
We don't twist a lid, do we ? 😮
Isn’t high used for describing the position of something, and tall is used for describing the size?
No. A fat or a thin thing can be high and tall. The difference is how far from the base/ground the object or person is. I have a detailed video on my channel. It's a bit old now, but I think it explains it well. If you're still not sure, let me know
