This is the ONLY video on folding a Hoodman launching pad that gets my 5+star rating! Superb instructions...and it only took you 21 seconds to teach me a way to fold it I will never forget! A major tip of the hat to you for this video!!!!!

Thanks. Quick, helpful video. I forgot how to fold it, and was trying the figure-8 fold like I use when folding a light diffuser... this method works way better.

This video at least stopped me guessing as to HOW the hoodeye is supposed to come off, but a I still needed to loosen it a little from the camera railings with a screwdriver - not force it off - just loosen it. Then, and only then, did it come off the railings as easily as in your video.

Looks GREAT!! As the training coordinator for a medium sized emergency management unit, both the speed and ease of use of this device seem to make it a winner for first responders and OEM operations. The use of a metal bracket which is installed and left on the remote controller. that makes it a real game-changer when it comes to rapid setup and deployment. We recently adopted the smart controller as standard for all of our operations and vehicles this was done primarily for use of use and to ensure visibility in most lighting environments. It seems that this hoid is a perfect match. The omly downside that we have encountered so far ---》 Lack of Availability locally. If I had not come across this video (sent to me by am associate who does radio tower inspections for ome of our municipalities), I woulf not have known if it's existence. Also this product is unusable for me because I need glasses and this blocks full viewfinder image so I cant see sides. I need to get closer to viewfinder to see it all. Also it blocks part of screen and looks stupid. So remember this before buying. So problem is not the hood itself, it's the distance to viewfinder without hood attached at all. So you cant help it in any way. But quality is good, and if you don't need glasses it might be useable for you.

I don't know why you stopped selling this one piece collapsible version. It's better than the new 2 piece one. Simple and streamlined.

Well I'm crazy late to the party, but this product is actually pretty damn good. Though this is a HORRIBLE marketing video for it. (Sorry Hoodman USA!) He keeps saying "now you can shoot using two hands.." but just holding a camera with two hands is... using two hands. :/ What IS great about this product is that it makes your shot way more stable when shooting video on a DSLR or mirrorless camera. Having the camera supported by your arm rather then your wrist help create a much smoother shot, plus it really does keep your hands from getting tired of holding it. It's a actually a damn good product despite how poorly this video sells it.

Thanks for the video. It's not kindergarten when you're struggling to make something budge without breaking it. You made it very easy for the mechanically challenged. BTW, I cut away the bottom of the rubber hood because it kept blocking my display. It's worked well that way for for a long time! Bought a new camera and need to swap it over now.

it's useles if you can attach it to the camera body ( considering that there's accessoire included that would facilitate that). Not the best option for its price.

Installing the eyecup was straightforward -- no video required. But I struggled to understand how to remove it -- I assumed I needed to squeeze on the sides or some such action to release a lock. I never thought to do what the video suggests and am glad they demonstrated. However, they didn't warn about the skin loss you may endure as your fingers catch and scrape over on the exposed rails ;)

I wonder....if there is an accidental hit on that hood.....who will break...the camera flash shoe or the hood arm!! I wouldn't use this product! Very dangerous for the flash shoe!
