I read it as a personal plan and as a plan for everyone in the body of Christ. God has a plan for each of us who follow Jesus. All of us have a task in the Kingdom of God. This assures that I do not follow through with my own plan but wait for and follow God's direction. The cooperation of the body of Christ Jesus will then go smoothly. It is because my/our hope and future is to be found in Jesus. 🙏🏽✝💜

This verse reminds us that we’re human. We will have troubles, and yet God wants us to believe that there’s still hope. And there is. Therefor it may not be aimed directly at us personally, but we should learn from this to remind ourselves there’s always hope.

I’m curious why you didn’t speak about verses 18 and 19? They lead up to verse 20 and are important to the context as well. Also verse 19 seems to be a bit separate from Mathew 15-17. It doesn’t mention if you and that same brother it says specifically “if two people” which is why I think the following verse 20 can be taken out of context. It doesn’t necessarily have to mean that God isn’t with you when you are alone because there are plenty other verses that tell us he’s with us regardless but I think the Bible tries to imply that there is strength in numbers spiritually. James 5:16 “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” I don’t think it’s necessarily wrong to take 18:20 out of context so long as we understand God can also be with us when we are alone and that having a helping believing friend or community is even more helpful. Thoughts ?

there's videos popping up all of a sudden saying things like ''making decrees will ruin your faith because it doesn't work'' an attack to ruin the faith of believers, especially young believers. Jesus, ''you can what ever you say...'' this is the same as a decree . this is a concerted effort to undermine the word of God. knowingly or unknowingly

I been reading scriptures and sometimes i feel like these promises are for the ppl like Abraham Issac and david etc i be thinking like this generation ain't worth it we dont deserve these promises. I am glad you've produced this video. This verse has been misquoted many times in my church & it would strike me as odd or shrug it off. It becomes very clear that it's misquoted once you realize people don't really believe how it's being misquoted since it's also believed God is with us when we are on our own, the complete opposite of the misquote. It's incredible how human understanding leads to these simple blunders
